Lukosious would be great on the wing or a connector up forward. Huge upgrade on Murphy or Mchenry. Nank and Lank on the wings would be pretty handy

It would be great, but whether it’s the best use of resources is a little more questionable

The Fog trade should be seriously considered.Not sure if this has been posed yet;
How much Crowcoin would you be willing to throw at Jamara?
Imagine a forward line with Jamara and Izak.
Tex has retired, and cya Fog (traded for capital)
I'm sure he wouldn't leave Vic, but is it worth a shot? Offer $8M over 6?
Doesn't exactly solve our midfield issues though i guess
Trouble is we don't have anyone capable of being any better. Gollant isn't it.The Fog trade should be seriously considered.
Will he actually stand up next year (ideally now!) without Tex or just drift on pretending he's going to put it all together one day.
He has some value now but in 18 months time ?
He plays well in teams that rebound quickly from a back fifty flooded I.e. has space to be one on one.Hard to know where Fog is at. Was building nicely in 22 and 23.
Reckon Jesus would struggle in this forward line.
Yeah the old risk vs reward.Trouble is we don't have anyone capable of being any better. Gollant isn't it.
Welsh is years away from being ready.
Petty isn't as good.
I hope Burgess wakes and tries to get him to lose a few kegs to be more mobile.
Imagine being a young highly talented kid (top 5) in this years Draft knowing you could end up being taken by the Crows...
Your heart would sink and confidence would be gutted knowing full well you will have to toil away in the Two's and hope to Christ you get lucky to get selected if there's injuries despite smashing it.
They were drafted six years apart, why are we comparing them? The Milera's - We got the WISH version. A comparison at ANY stage of Wayne Milera vs NWM has poor old Wayne getting destroyed. Unlucky with the injury, but for me, despite what the clanger/turnover stats say, has been woeful in the MANNER and location on the ground in which he's coughed the ball up. Up there with Hinge in terms of being a massive disappointment this season.

i thought he would have been a great pick for us. Loved the way he played in the game at Ikon Park.I reckon former Richnmond Captain and now midfield coach Chris Newman would have a few clues?
His left boot is a bazooka!!
From that article :
Here is Newman’s assessment of McAuliffe . . .
“You look at the size of him . . . he’s a readymade body and plays that inside mid role really well.
“Wins his own ball, and it’s good to see a left-footer in there that’s able to get inside and out.
“The thing that he likes to do is actually win it, but he’s quite good at getting in to out successfully.
“He loves taking on tackles, shrugging tackles and getting clear.
“He’s a really honest worker . . . works hard, which is exactly what we require out of all our mids.
“And his patterns are strong.
“He’s a really good kid, who loves to learn. He’s always in my office and works closely with Sam Lonergan and Jack Ziebell as well with his stoppage craft.
“He’s a really talented kid . . . a beautiful left-foot kick and quite penetrating, too.
“So, he’s got a good leg and he can kick both sides. But he’s quite good at getting on to his left.”

That dejected lifeless look just says it all....
If we just try to solve one problem at a time, we'll end up exactly where we already are.
Luko as a free agent. Hayward as a free agent. Petty as a free agent.
They were drafted six years apart, why are we comparing them?
I think he means wait for the free agents for the non mid positions but use our draft collateral at the draft or trade table for the mids we needAnd is that location desperately short of speed and quality in the middle?
But why those two pick 11s?A testament to how bad our drafting has been. They've been drafted 6 years apart, but at no stage has W Milera managed to achieve the sort of stats and impact on a game in his entire career compared to NWM who's only been in the system for 2, entering into his 3rd.
Both Pick 11. Both play the same position. What a dud.
That’s like comparing Bailey Smith to Brodie Smith, what’s the point? The first 2 words of the post give some indication.
What’s with the daft questions all of a sudden?
That’s like comparing Bailey Smith to Brodie Smith, what’s the point?
Comparing WMJ to someone from his same draft year who has developed better would make more sense, at least there’s a genuine direct comparison there
