Rankine WhoRankine saying nothing serious for Thilthorpe.
He’s just so poised and his hands are insanely good.Matt Crouch 23 disposals, 9 Score Involvements, 59% Time On Ground, 100%Disposal Efficiency, 6 Clearances, 3 Centre Clearances, 3 Stoppage Clearances....fair effort.
A bit slow to start conversion wise, but it wasn't about winning by 20 goals in a trial game.10 goals with a full strength side against the likely spooners travelling is below par for a top 8 side. Hopefully they turned up to play and we were a little off.
Harsh, a lazy player doesn’t have a run down tackle or provide an option 60m up the field after being involved on the back flank.Oh God no.
Fog was awful. Beyond awful. Worst player on the ground. Utterly lazy.
A 10 goal win is never below par.
This is the player he was in 2016-2017 then god knows what happened after that. He’s just so poised and his hands are insanely good.
Its handy to have him back, and hopefully Schoenberg a bit later on, at worst theyre good depth and take some load of others and at best he could be a very handy midfield addition.Looks like the 2023 Berry is a distant memory!
Some of the standing up in a tackle and releasing a team mate work was top shelf.Matt Crouch 23 disposals, 9 Score Involvements, 59% Time On Ground, 100%Disposal Efficiency, 6 Clearances, 3 Centre Clearances, 3 Stoppage Clearances....fair effort.
He can’t kick. The rest doesn’t make up for itLooks like the 2023 Berry is a distant memory!
No.
Though he may have won a bench spot with that kind of game, and with us transitioning to one less forward. Plus a world without Sloane.
If Crouch, Dawson, Rankine and Laird at their best we will be dominant. Some of the standing up in a tackle and releasing a team mate work was top shelf.
I only saw the first half. Will watch the second half tonight.
Don’t agree. Today was very good. Needs to make this his standard though. He can’t kick. The rest doesn’t make up for it
Played very well today as I posted during game timeMatt Crouch 23 disposals, 9 Score Involvements, 59% Time On Ground, 100%Disposal Efficiency, 6 Clearances, 3 Centre Clearances, 3 Stoppage Clearances....fair effort.
I’ll take his 2 goals thanksHe can’t kick. The rest doesn’t make up for it
It’s always the same no matter what suburban ground.Should never let West Adelaide host one of these games again. Lines for any food and drink were ridiculous. If you can’t deliver, don’t put your hand up.
fog was poor, needs to work on consistency as his best is lightyears ahead of his worst daysI liked a lot of our positioning in around contests today, moving to keep being an outlet or pressure release option. Geelong in its hey day did that really well so its a tick from me on that. Spread from defense was good early.
Got our contested game going in the end.
We looked a bit rusty, I imagine the wind didn't help, but seemed to get better over the day.
All the people we need to look good looked good pretty much.
Really liked fog actually, didn't get reward but was doing a lot right with his intensity and efforts.
A 10 goal win is never below par.
The amount of times he doesn't chase, or puts in a half effort is bad.Harsh, a lazy player doesn’t have a run down tackle or provide an option 60m up the field after being involved on the back flank.
Wouldn't be many wanting food for a 2:40pm game, surely? It’s always the same no matter what suburban ground.
Agree - They had McGovern, Barrass, Kelly, Yeoh, Gaff, Darling, Cripps, Duggan, Hunt, WItherden, Waterman, Petrucelle, Harley 'generation' Reid... Thats pretty much full strength bar a few for them...
