Anyone still think trading Ben Brown out was the wrong call and proof we were tanking? Gave us the two picks we used to get Stevenson from the Pies. I call that a win.

Didn't realise only certain fans are allowed to give West Coast sh*t.
Don’t mind it from sides that have actually won something. Freo fans giving us shit is on par with Gold Coast fans doing the same. Just irrelevant because you have never experienced coming down from a high point so any opinion on the matter is baseless, and only having the failures of your cross town rivals to bring you joy is hilariously petty.

Freo fans are fairly chirpy in this thread for a fan base that only has derby trophies from 5+ years ago to claim as any sort of silverware.
A hard earned McClelland Trophy too, we had to build a whole nother shelf for that.

Now enough deflection from the issue at hand of WCE's pants being pulled down by the bottom team in front of their home fans. Who then by all accounts got drenched walking to the train after the game which hid their tears of defeat and disgust.

Meh it was coming. The recent form of both sides doesn’t reflect ladder position imo and that’s not to mention the fact we were 3.10 at the half. Could have easily been 30 points up and a comfortable, although uninspiring, win. But that’s just footy. Ups and downs, or in Freos case, a whole lot of down. But as I said, keep finding joy in your rival teams failure if that’s all you have to hang your hat on 👍🏼

Surely Simpson dumps Jack Darling after that game?

They could have done a Dynamo Washing Detergent ad of him and Walker standing side by side. Walker pre wash and Darling post wash.

Too old, fat and slow.

Definitely slow - just lack any drive out of the midfield. Naitanui is the only one able to impose himself at stoppages. I though Yeo was the answer to this problem, but just not there yet, and Shuey still struggling.

Other factors - game plan that struggles in the wet, dew or on small grounds. It worked well for a while, but hasn't evolved much and other clubs much better at countering it. Probably played above the average games in the wet at home (Essendon, Bullies, NM) and smaller grounds (twice at GMHBA, although the win over Carlton at SCG is an outlier).
