MCG's also a bit of an ice-box on a cold Thursday night.

Can't say i blame them, personally.
Yeah haven't been myself in a while living in WA but looking at the forecast it looked putrid.
Also let's be honest neither teams are flying and very mediocre at the moment not really a blockbuster.
You might be right about 9th if we keep playing like this even with the help we had.

It's well documented that Richmond members dislike Thursday night games. Along with Sunday Twilight. No suprise
I get the Sunday twilight thing, Hate them myself. But our little 50k member club got 47000 to a Sunday twilight game last week. I thought I read Richmond had over 100,000 members. Doesn't seem right.

Victorians are a precious bunch 😉
Alot of 3 game members I'm guessing.
However dude it's hardly comparable, Freo are flying & the buzz of the town lol.

Edit. Flagmantle are flying*

I'm in Brisbane and it's 10deg. I can't imagine what it'd be like on a cold, Thursday night in Melbourne when you have to work/take the kids to school in the morning. Probably wouldn't be getting home until after 11pm for a lot of people also. Stuff that.

Collingwood & Bulldogs are really the only competition Richmond have for the lower half of the 8. Suns could threaten but nobody else looking likely.

More likely Richmond sneak into the 8 at the expense of the Bulldogs as, even though they've made 2 grand finals, they always float around the bottom of the 8, or just out of it.

Regardless of the umpiring banter, a win's a win and any supporter would be happy with that.

The point being you had your head in your phone at the final siren with that message prepared? It's ok, you don't have to explain.
That bothers you that he wrote that? Richmond got a nice ride by the umpires but nothing wrong it sticking it up to the haters lol.
God we have been doing it to WC banter for years.

Collingwood have really impressed me. Did not see this quick turnaround coming. GC have a nice run and very happy for them, so wouldn't mind if they had to take our spot.

Yeah, wasn't sure if it was just the whole new coach getting a team competitive early or not and the loss to WCE definitely changed a lot of early opinions.

Looking good now though and it's the lesser-lights that appear to be doing a lot of the heavy lifting. McRae's done a great job so far.

Lol. I'm sure we all felt Pity for the blues and their supporters the last 20 years. More number 1's than the Beatles & MJ combined and only now starting to perform.
I'm glad you're enjoying yourself 😀 When things aren't going so well in life, footy can bring some much needed happiness.

Well I'm glad you're enjoying your life now seeming footy abandoned you for the last 20 years 😀
Oh no you are mistaken, I've got plenty to be happy about outside of football. But for people like yourself it does warms me to know you have an outlet you can enjoy when there's not much else going on. You enjoy yourself mate, keep sticking it to the oppo posters!
