Haha you don’t particularly hate Richmond, you’ve spent the last 3 years on every game day thread cheering for whoever we are playing. Classic.
Sure. Everyone loves an underdog and Richmond were flying.

Couldn't give a shit about who won tonight but Port got utterly reamed in the last qtr by the umpires and everyone naturally dislikes the team that's getting a hardcore rub from the umps, especially in a close game.

I’d pay good money to be able to turn off the umpires mics during a game, they are so annoying to listen to.

They sucked tonight but they do most weeks, the inconsistency is just baffling. Prestia gets pinged dead to rights holding the ball, nothing. 5 seconds later Houston fends off as he gets swarmed by 3 guys, gone. Butters gets slung and spun, nothing.

Just stop. There is no way that we are ‘favoured’ with our awful differential. We get the worst run in the competition and the stats show this. I don’t care what your opinion is on it is. For all I know, you may hate Richmond, meaning that you’d still be biased watching them play.

At least I

Port's refusal to undertake concussion protocols is not only a breech of duty of care but it's also tantamount to cheating.
Can they get fined for that

You're full of it. Have you read your board this year? I don't think many are happy to finish last. You're using the deflection tactic in the wrong time.
Cool. Thanks for projecting my opinion, based on what a bunch of people I've never met say on an internet forum.

Absolute genius comment right there.

You don't. As stated (and analysed on plenty of footy shows) your differential is almost entirely due to your team giving away professional frees to hold up play.

I don't particularly hate Richmond either. In fact, I don't particularly hate any club, because that would mean I waste my time thinking about them.

It's only Richmond supporters that believe they get a rough ride.
How many gameday threads do you read on the main board? They're chock full of posters whinging about umpiring.

Tiges were favourably looked after tonight by the slime in lime. HTB & contact in marking contests was umpired differently for the 2 teams competing.

You seem to be invested heavily in Richmond games. You're name is famous on RFC game day threads. Cool life you have.

Oh, I know.

In WCE gameday threads it's an echo-chamber of Freo supporters whinging about how hard done by they are. They're regularly joined by a certain WA-based Essendon supporter contributing to the circle-jerk, with celebrity appearances from a WA-based Hawks supporter from time to time, who writes essays on how much he hates WCE and how they basically ruined his life.

It's actually hilarious but sad at the same time that these people clearly can't afford therapy, so they vent in our gameday threads.

Great reading tbh.

umpiring seriously questioned but it won't cause we aren't a big club like the tiges, our entries inside 50 were ****ing dreadful at times too many solo players who wanted to do everything like Rozee when we worked as a team we played great but not enough consistency all around.

Hello, was there a game on tonight?

I post in pretty much every gameday thread I watch. Your games just happen to be mostly on prime-time.

Haven't watched a Richmond game for a few weeks though.

Nice to know I'm living rent-free in your heads, although I can't possibly imagine why.

Port have form in this area too. Not the first, second or even third time. Agree, it made an absolute mockery of the protocols
yep.. port have always pussyfooted their way around the concussion protocols.. it makes a complete mockery of the rules.

two players running at speed towards each other and colliding in a head clash like that wouldve definitely had their brains smashing into the insides of their skulls.. both went down and stayed down for a good 20-30 seconds (until martin kicked the goal atleast).. then both looked pretty unsteady on their feet as they were aided from the ground..

concussion testing should've been a given.. and, if done thoroughly, that takes longer than the period those two players were off the ground.. all we saw the club doctors do was clean up the blood as quickly as they could and strap up both players heads..

On a serious note though, Shai Bolton kicks those sitters and the umps aren't even in the equation as having a strong influence on the game.

For Port supporters' sake, every loss is one step closer to Hinkley gone, so Richmond's ultimately done them a favour here.

Why has no one mentioned the disgraceful decision to let two players back on the field after slamming heads together and the port Adelaide football club doctors not performing a concussion test?!???

This literally goes against everything the AFL has stood for about concussion.

Disgrace.

Your players clearly felt so strongly about it that they knocked butters out again, for no free kick, because the cheating ****sticks who cheated all night cheated. ****ing cheats.

Anyway all good. I'll take the win even though I do admit we got a great ride. If you watch our games as you do surley you can be civil somewhat and agree that we cop it a bit by the maggots.
Unlucky Port well fought.

What was with the crowd? Don't the Tiges fans like the G? Lower turnout than even the Dees crowds. Bizarre.

It's well documented that Richmond members dislike Thursday night games. Along with Sunday Twilight. No suprise
