Anything more than performance over the past 12 months is completely irrelevant. You’re all as bad as one another.
No, i am trying to bring him to the now. I agree with you. He wants to talk about 35 years ago or something. Can you lend a hand here?

I see the high quality Tiger posters are here already.

Big game tonight. Pies by 8 goals.
Well it is a Richmond gameday thread. What were you expecting?

The twisted logic is somewhat impressive, even if baffling.

If I have this straight, according to your logic, a PF loss in an 18 team comp is better than a premiership in a 12 team competition.

Pies 2022 season is better than Tigers 1980??

Time for a nap already meteor?

I made no pronouncement on flags in 12 team comps v Preliminaryships in 18 team comps.

I simply focussed on the Premiership winning years and counted up how many teams were beaten in the Premiership years of each club over their best 4 year period.

I think it is laudable that such a renowned choking finals club as Collingwood is as high as 5th on that list. :)

Leaving all the dick-swinging aside, this will be an interesting little test for Collingwood tonight.

All through 2022 they were "Underdogs made good". Even in the first two rounds of 2023 they weren't necessarily seen as favourites.

Here, they're expected to win and win well. Richmond are banged up and injured and far from their best, and Collingwood are flying. All the expectation is on them to put this game away comfortably and assert themselves as the media's Premiership Favourites.

It will be good to see how they handle being truly the hunted instead of the hunters.
This team is pretty good at standing up to pressure as we saw with all those close wins last year. I don't expect the pressure that comes with favouritism or expectation to derail them.

Yes this could be another Richmond style stinker of a game on the big stage. A boring sloppy game where neither side can manage 10 goals...
In 2006 that was considered an epic grand final.... :p

You must be new to supporting football. I think your just a wee upset you can't do your ninthmond jokes anymore or celebrate the awesomeness of players like Tyrone Vickery etc etc. And i certainly was never reminded of tins or 37 years etc etc. Yeah, i would question more the supporter bases who could dish it out for all those years, but when it came back at them, we found out how thin the skin was.
Not sure what your point is here, but it's completely irrelevant to my post.

I probably shouldn't expect anything different.

Only one club has a 4 bagger.

List of clubs who have a 4 bagger

1 - Collingwood

I am sure you and your Tigger mates will rest easy knowing your Tigers were "51 team masters" better than the Lions who were only "45 team masters".

Except the Lions had a 3peat...Tiggers didnt?

Frampton on Bolton will be an amazing match-up, and looking forward to Ash Johnson plying his trade in the ruck.

Even the Collingwood selection committee are having a laugh at the has been Tigers...
Seriously…your backline is very underwhelming.

Lynch tore your pissweak “key backs” apart last year and what’s changed since?…Frampton?

You are getting into the murky area of 3 year performance there Dopple.

Tigers best 3 year span = 34 teams beaten to win Premierships.

Tradgepies best 3 year span = 33 teams beaten to win Premierships.

Thanks for introducing yet another way we have you covered. ;)

All good when it won't get past Richmond's half forward line.
Youd hope not. You’ve got one of the biggest embarrassments as a captain playing down there along side the competitions biggest sheep dog and a bunch no names.
Your plan is to stop the highest scoring team from 2022 scoring with that?

I think tonight might be a bit of a wake up call to pies supporters.

Looking forward to people admitting they were wrong and apologising after tonight's game.
