Your plan is to stop the highest scoring team from 2022 scoring with that?
'Highest scoring team from 2022'.

Pity about your defence in 2022 then.

Has Richmond even scored as much in their two matches combined as Collingwood have with their lowest score this season?

Without checking suspect it is touch and go...

Edit: Good thing Richmond kicked straight against a bottom 4 team last week...

False bravado.

They'll be blaming injuries and umpiring by half way through the second quarter.
Umpies will be the difference for sure.

I mean 19 more frees last week.

Richmond haven’t seen that for decades.

Got the excuses already mate?

Pies by 25 due to umpiring?

No, i am trying to bring him to the now. I agree with you. He wants to talk about 35 years ago or something. Can you lend a hand here?
You’ve been talking about Richmond premierships from 3-5 years ago. Don’t pretend you’re trying to talk about the present.

Seriously…your backline is very underwhelming.

Lynch tore your pissweak “key backs” apart last year and what’s changed since?…Frampton?
No more Madgen, so Moore doesn’t have to be accountable for both key backs.

Top of the free kick differential every year while we at the bottom.

Anyway let’s hope for a fairly umpired game then I will dip my lid if we loose.

Or get lose if we win!

Cmon the big one,the mighty Tigers!!!!

Think everyone wants a decent, hard fought close game without being marred or ruined by terrible umpiring (and no injuries to either team)

Not sure what your point is here, but it's completely irrelevant to my post.

I probably shouldn't expect anything different.
Was totally relevant. But not surprised by the lack of self reflection.
Like they did in 2022?

Get with the program, Richmond are yesterday's news.
Like Collingwood i guess.

The Richmond posters here are making it very easy for neutrals to support The Pies tonight.
Lol, like you were doing anything different.

Absolutely in the present. But i agree, only the last 12 moths has relevance, and even now with some of this years results, we are seeing just how relevant some of last years form is as well (if you know what i mean - look at the Lions for example).

You are getting into the murky area of 3 year performance there Dopple.

Tigers best 3 year span = 34 teams beaten to win Premierships.

Tradgepies best 3 year span = 33 teams beaten to win Premierships.

Thanks for introducing yet another way we have you covered. ;)
Tigers best 3 year span = 2 flags
Pies best 3 year span = 3 flags.

Pies have the Tuggers covered in any 3 year window.

And LoL if you are trying to bring in "almost" seasons...it is Pies then daylight there.

Only thing the toothless Tigers have us covered for is years in the wilderness. Seasons where you dont make finals.

Dwayne Russell on SEN running with a rumour Darcy Moore may be out tonight.

Speaking of challenge finals, did you know you have outscored us in only 6 finals series, and we have outscored you in 9? That's what I love about threads like this, we find new ways Richmond have dominated Carringtrash all the time.

As for the man Mate Colina refers to as little Cox, is that the same guy who "boasts" a 1-4 home and away record v the Tigers? No wonder Fadge doesn't rate him. But dopple, great memories of your Preliminaryship, it ranks in the top two things in footy to watch your lot get pipped on the post in a Grand Final. :)

So it was like 3 strikes and a spare for us in 2017(strike) 2018(spare) 2019(strike) 2020(strike.) Not quite as good as a 4 bagger, but the next best thing. ;)

So many smileys in your posts.

Looks very familiar with new accounts on here 🧐

I’ve have simply said your time in the sun after 35 years in the wilderness was overdue.
But great Clubs like Coll would never tolerate 35 years without a GF appearance - that’s why our flag total far exceeds Richmonds.
And when it comes to wooden spoons well, you win that race easily.

We had a 76 year stretch without a wooden spoon - now that is the mark of a Great Club. By comparison Richmonds best was 27 years.
A great club is 76 years without a wooden spoon? I would have thought it’s winning premierships? It’s a bit like saying I’m a successful person cause I’ve never tried heroin.

Back to the game, I’ll be interested to see the tigers up the pressure tonight on the pies, and also try and prevent them using the corridor.
Going to be fascinating.

So in this thread, it's okay to go back in history, well over 100 years?

Not sure what all this "free hit" nonsense being thrown about by tiger supporters even means.
There's still 4 points on the line, right? Percentage will be adjusted on the result, correct?
Your team has aspirations for finals, which is negatively affected by losses, yeah?
You think so poorly of your team that you've already assumed tonight will be a loss, and any other outcome will be an unexpected bonus.

Despite the narrative in the media, have no doubt, this game will be between 2 undefeated teams, both expected to play finals this year. There's no "free hit" - this is as important a contest as any other.

Great for you lot. We are even resting our players to let you win this one 😉

Might help you make the 8.
That's kind of my point. From a football watchers point of view I'd much rather a match up between two match hardened sides with a good chuck of the season under their belt right on the cusp of finals
