Not sure what all this "free hit" nonsense being thrown about by tiger supporters even means.
There's still 4 points on the line, right? Percentage will be adjusted on the result, correct?
Your team has aspirations for finals, which is negatively affected by losses, yeah?
You think so poorly of your team that you've already assumed tonight will be a loss, and any other outcome will be an unexpected bonus.

Despite the narrative in the media, have no doubt, this game will be between 2 undefeated teams, both expected to play finals this year. There's no "free hit" - this is as important a contest as any other.
No, no, no my pretty, there's a reason Collingwood supporters are telling everyone it's "Flagpies". It's definitely your game to lose tonight.

Genuinely curious as to who has actually said this, because been no talk of that sort at all on the Pies board. My money is on you just talking shit.

I might have said it once or twice. Including a statement before the season started where I couldn't see us losing a game.

#flagpies. Get on board.
You don’t count, you notorious main board shit talker <3

Lol, even today on SEN, the hosts are saying they are getting texts on "flagpies". I have Collingwood mates texting me "flagpies". So no offence, but, pull your head in.

Oh, the media and your mates who are shit talking. Yeah that’s all the pies fans.

I’ll pull my head in when you pull yours out of your arse 👍🏻

Could be a bit wet, I can see it impacting both sides in different ways, Richmond's potential area to exploit Collingwood with talls like Lynch, Ryan and Riewoldt is diminished, Collingwood's footskills and daring kicking might be diminished.

Rain might keep two relatively high scoring teams closer, so it always throws up a bit more unpredictability.

No it doesn't.
It will favor the fitter & youthful team if it's a wet track.

Richmond so bloody overrated this season. Gonna be fun watching you lot turn on the umpires and conspiracies theories as to why it all went to sh*t :D

ChatGPT:

In general, wet weather can significantly affect a team's performance in Australian Rules Football, as it can make the ball slippery, reduce visibility, and impact players' ability to move and control the ball.

Richmond and Collingwood are both successful and experienced teams that have played in many different weather conditions over their long histories. Richmond has won 13 premiership titles, while Collingwood has won 15.

Looking at their recent performances, Richmond has been successful in wet weather games in recent years, with their wet-weather record in the 2020 season being particularly impressive. However, it is worth noting that wet weather can be unpredictable, and even the most successful teams can struggle in challenging conditions.

Overall, while it is difficult to say definitively which team historically won more games in wet weather, both Richmond and Collingwood have a history of success and resilience in challenging conditions.

Well if they are saying it, they're saying it. Don't take umbrage at me.

FMD. The world would be a very boring place if every supporter used the 'we're just taking it one week at a time' card.
Talk to your mate Apex. It makes for great banter. You reckon there hasn't been some Lynch/Moore stuff being said? It's fantastic.

There you go, living in the past again. You know with you "selective stats" (your words, not mine). Pies haven't been a big club success wise since the 30's. Just facts mate. But, again, if i was a pies supporter, it's where i would live as well. It's all you have.

Actually, most of us have lives, jobs, friends and families. Crazy, isn't it?

Oh you mean that thing that every second Richmond fan on here was doing to literally every other club for a few years?
Wouldn't know, I'm not a 60 year old who's been on here for 20 years like other people. Don't think anyone can rightly say clubs like Collingwood aren't big. And people were still right to say we have been bigger or at least the same level in recent years. It's pretty simple, Vic clubs big. Wow
