Might get a few consolation goals in the next few minutes, but that's as bad as it gets for us. No flag now - not confident we'd take an away game against Freo or Sydney, and even if we did, most likely it's a rematch against a rested WC...

WC's tackling has been great, sure, but it's gone hand in hand with our abysmal ball handling and kicking. Never liked Pagan's Paddock, but even Gold Coast's replication of it a year or so ago when Trent McKenzie was their designated runner looked better than our version tonight...

Don't think we'll be hearing the often trotted out commentary line that any team is "playing the best" when they line up against us anymore...that one's up for grabs until WC can rubber stamp it with a flag, if they do...
