Suddenly India are favourites on a batting paradise

Won' lie, I dropped $20 on them paying $8.10 just before the first ball today. Got a feeling that they can make a huge score here and trouble us if Warner doesn't fire again in the second innings (especially now Clarke is injured)

really? was that due to reoccurring injuries?

I heard that his feet were in the position they should be for a side on action whilst his torso was where it should be for a front on action.

It was all very technical but sounded like it would lead to injuries

India wont win. Bookmark.

Day 2 Morning session will be crucial, let's hope Clarke comes out with Smith

The two late wickets hurt. We were very well placed until then. You really need a minimum of 400 batting first in Adelaide. Still some work to be done.

Knowing that the rescheduling of the match did stuff up a lot of plans for a lot of people, thats a fairly healthy number. Saturday should be interesting, assuming the match lasts that long.
Friday should be big original start day I'd imagine most people like me will still have the day off to head down

Because you've captained so many cricket teams

Well, I have, but I fail to see what that's got to do with it.

Why is it when openers have to go out and face 3 or 4 overs at the end of the day, but every other batsman needs to be protested. Bloody ridiculous. Perfect wicket, popgun bowling, perfect light ... any batsman who can't go out and face up in those conditions is a squib.

So Rogers is the best opener we have in the counrty...well **** me. Haddin can go as well. Time to pension off some of these old fogies and get some younger guys in there.

I'm with you. I have nothing against eith player, as a matter of fact I've been a supporter of Haddin, but watching Haddin decide he needed a night watchman walk in before him with still 8 overs to go just doesn't smack of leadership. Time to try a new keeper in the 2nd Test.

But Haddin did get out, therefore, his decision to send a nightwatchman makes sense. Had Lyon survived those last overs, we might have seen Haddin opening today's play with Smith.

Slightly off topic, but good to see Sean Abbott back in the wickets and importantly, enjoying his cricket.

Warner almost pulled out of the Test. His comments about being on 63 are interesting.

The left-hander said it was the most distressing part of the day and believes the 63 mark will be significant for every current Australian cricketer for as long as they play.

“It was such a horrific incident and a rare incident. At the back of my mind, even though a spinner was bowling, being on that number wasn’t right,” he said. “I just wanted to get past that and move on.

“In this generation it’s going to be with us the rest of our lives. I am going to carry it on (recognising 63) the rest of my career.”

Hai Chappelli.

(BTW: I'm with you ... nightwatchmen are for the final two overs of a day, if at all.)
