Review Autopsy vs Melb

How much are the footy gods looking after us at the moment?

Melbourne kick 1 goal 65 in the last quarter to not only hand us the game, but gift wrap it with a ribbon on top, a card and breakfast in bed served by a nude model.

And Carlton, in the year we are getting their pick, are deciding to have a season so bad they’ve sacked their coach.

I know what’s next. Kinsey Wolanski will pitch invade at this week’s game, breaking all GWS’s momentum and concentration Peter Hore style.

You heard it here first.

If he got a handball or kick off the tackle isn’t counted.

You said he didn’t “lay one “ tackle

That looks like a tackle to me

The journo called it a tackle

Tex got Jones good and Jones took quite a while to get up
If Jones was lucky enough for a Melb player to be where the ball fell doesn’t make it less of a “tackle”
Just sayin
Edit
Had another look at if
He disposed of it after being spun with a blind handball

What do we do though. At the moment I’d rather Lynch than Tex to be honest. At least we could give Fog games and he’s probably not a downgrade by too much from Taylor’s recent output. We don’t really have a lynch replacement.
Greenwood or Davis?

Brad Crouch 21 kicks, 8 handballs

Godden did say a month or so ago they were trying to get him to adjust his ratio, kick the ball more

Pleasing to see.

Serious question -is it because Matt isn't playing? They share it between themselves alot. It's like they trust each other more than themselves

I don't write how they measure the stats - what is in Champion Data is no tackles. If he didn't stop progress of the ball then the tackle was not effective. Thats how they measure tackles by their effectiveness.

They do have a bad habit of giving the ball to each other despite better options being available at times.

I'd prefer to play Tex until someone (Fog) demands to be picked

A year out of footy and Brad is still Brad.

Gun.
He was brilliant on Saturday however some of his ball use and decision making in earlier rounds was horrific.

He's set for a massive second half of the year as he gets more confidence to take the game on.

Let's hope he gets a decent run at it for the next few years to see what he can do.

We don't and do in the same sense. We may not have a gut running link player, but we have deeper targets and letting Tex roam more may also be better fo him. Structures are always flexible.

Tex imploding is really the wildcard here though, because you could always play Lynch at CHF (which isn't that different from how he plays currently). Then just play Fogarty as a deeper target. Though of course, Tex imploding is the worst possible case on a list management standpoint. That could end up a millstone for any rebuild rather quickly.

Taken him a while, but it's relieving to see that injuries haven't curtailed that talent level.
I’d like to think his best is still to come as his confidence in his body grows. 🤞
