Because he had a very slight limp after Saturdays game?
Apologies, that I have picked up.It is 100% true. Delve a little deeper. His father (instead of a past player) presented him with his guernsey for a reason.
Hinkley stated as much in a recent interview .. 'Would have played him earlier, but some personal (non-footy) issues prevented him. All clear now, so he got a game.' Why would Ken state it in public if it wasnt true?Apologies, that I have picked up.
But Ken anxious to get him into the team early in the season! That is what I don't believe.
Pittard would be in more danger i reckon. Bonner been decentBonner for Austin I hate to say it but with wce fwd line we can't go in small

Would like to give Trengove one last opportunity. Plus we could have a fair bit of flexibility with him in.I've got a man-boner for Austin, but he was miles off it when he came in this season.
If - if - we're reaching for extra height down back it has to be Trengove.

Key defender undergoes hip surgeryThis is not the news Power fans want before the finals series...
Speaking on Triple M Adelaide this morning, Mark Ricciuto dropped the mail he had received that a Port Adelaide player has gone in for season ending hip surgery.
“My mail is…Jack Hombsch flew interstate to either have an operation or to inquire about an operation on his hip," Roo said on Triple M.
“He may not playing for the rest of the year.”
Ken says what he thinks people want to hear.Hinkley stated as much in a recent interview .. 'Would have played him earlier, but some personal (non-footy) issues prevented him. All clear now, so he got a game.' Why would Ken state it in public if it wasnt true?

His spot in the SNAFL team?Hombsch out for the season with a hip. Guess Trengove gets his spot?
With Jonas out, I have a feeling Jacko might play down back. He could play on Petrie. Clurey on Kennedy. Doogs on Darling.
Key defender undergoes hip surgery
Edit: As posted by awesomedal14 in the injury update thread last night.
As an self-confessed ignorant, I was expecting Hombsch to come back in for finals v the WC forward line. His spot in the SNAFL team?
Hombsch hasn't played in the AFL since round 20.
If Jackson played down back this weekend it'll give us an indication in where or if Ken wants him in against West Coast.A forward line of Petrie, Darling and Kennedy demands we play another tall. Thought both Petrie and particularly Darling were good last week. They also have good size in the backline which has killed us every game at AO.
No Hombsch. No Jonas.
It has to be Jackson in defence.
If Hinkley was lying about it, then KT directly lied to me. Doubt that's the case.Ken says what he thinks people want to hear.
