Matt needs to learn defensive running and tackling and should be doing it in the SANFL like Gibbs. 2 tackles tonight for an inside mid is a joke. Atkins, yeah I can understand that, he is pure outside, but for Matt it is shocking

Rightio, it’s battle stations, our spot in the finals is now at risk and Carlton away isn’t looking like the easy win it did a few weeks ago. Not sure who will be making way, but we’ll be looking hard at getting more experience into the side. Every bone in the selector’s bodies will be aching to bring in Otto, Dougie and Sauce. I think only Dougie returns though.

Murphy - zero goal sense for a forward
Laird - found out, awful disposal, terrible season
Greenwood - great for 10% of the game, invisible for 90%
B. Crouch - needs to get fit and run defensively for once. Needs a SANFL stint or trade

Fogarty - should have played at least half the season already
Himmelberg - better than Jenkins
Gallucci - shouldn't have been dropped
Jones - should have played nearly every game
Butts - should get a run given what he's shown, even if it's for just a few games
Hamill - speedy player, give him a go
Stengle - never should have been dropped
Davis - playing only one game was unfair
Ellis-Yolmen - straight back from injury

Most of these ins should have already played significant AFL time this season

The fact Jones has not been played since his concussion when he is exactly the player we lack is a bloody discrace and pyke deserved to be gone for this alone. Note to selectors. Murphy is not a footballers backside. Get him out and off our list for all I care. Stengle in. Fogarty in. Mcadam in. Sholl in. Gallucci in. Berg in. Mchenry in(when fit). Cey in. Don't know if Butts, Mcpherson and Hamill are ready but if they are give them a game or two.

I think we need to move Milera down back again, looks lost up forward other than the game vs GC which I don't count, he can still have stints in the middle from there, Mackay comes out, Milera down back, and Stengle/Jones/McHenry in is too obvious that the coaches won't see it.

Smith can stay up forward, thought he's been great there, gets him in more attacking positions.

Surprised not much has been said about our rubbish goal kicking, twice in three weeks it's cost us a bigger lead in the first half.

The second half drop offs are really weird considering in both the Giants and Tigers games we won them after pulling away at the end, that to me seems like Pyke has lost the players that they're not willing to go the extra mile, it's only been after our bye it's been an issue, maybe something happened during it?
