Matt's DE% against Geelong was 89.2%, 10 score involvements. only small forward Gryan Miers had more 12, 37 disposals. 9 clearances, 3 of those centre clearances....
Crouch has easily been our best midfielder this year.

Only a biased moron would think otherwise.

Meanwhile our other 2 main midfielders have been trash.

Curtin from the vision i've seen of him takes the game on. The sooner he is fit and in the side the better. Worrell and Hinge can take the game on as well but maybe they are being instructed not too or arent being proactive. The players seem frozen out there like they don't know what to do.
Simple coaching instruction this week... take the game on & move the ball quickly... unless the other side has a run on, then slow things down.

Remember, like last year.

I wouldn't mind seeing Milera, Crouch and Dawson in the middle. Laird can go to hb, but unfortunately having no good ball users in the back half is killing us and laird wont help that

I didn't hear it myself, only second hand but did lol when we said Rankine would spend more time up forward after he looked pretty lively in the midfield.

Probably saw what Rachele did up forward who didn't get any midfield last week and double down with Rankine up forward for this bombing the ball into 50.

I want to know how a small forward has those stats, who was on him and how the * didn’t Nicks stop him?
Those stats were Matt’s weren’t they? Only the 12 score involvements were Miers

so when does Laird do his soul searching SANFL stint like Crouch had to
Laird just needs to feed Dawson into space and problem solved.
Dawson needs to let Crouch and Laird feed him instead of getting sucked into every contest.

To my surprise, I think we're missing Doedee in defence quite a lot
Who was assigned the Doedee job of intercepting a la Alir et al? ... there was nobody I could see, playing between Cameron, Hawkins, and the incoming ball. It was open air back there. A glaring coaching blunder IMO.

F: Soligo Fogarty McHenry
HF: Curtin Walker Rankine
C: Keays Dawson Hamill
HB: Milera Keane Hinge
B: Michalanney Borlase Worrell
R: O'Brien Crouch Rachele
I: Pedlar Strachan Laird Berry
Sub: Jones

Out: Butts, Smith, Murphy, Burgess, Jones (sub)
In: Borlase, Hamill, Curtin, Strachan, McHenry

It seems Burgess, Gollant, Himmelberg are all pretty useless. Lets try 2 rucks and play one of them forward once in a while to offer a big target. Also might shake our midfield up a bit if Strachan can offer something different to ROB at the taps. Give Hamill a chance on the wing. Smith has been poor and Jones, again, underwhelming. Give Curtin a go - first game in his home state in front of family.
Burgess showed a bit against Geelong. He was one of our better forward's. Against GC none of the forward's from either side had any impact so I think your analysis of him was a little harsh.
