I don’t see winning the next 2 as more than likely. North at their worst still manage to beat us.

I’d be grateful for the 2 wins (banking a win against the Suns) but this is North. Regardless of their shitometer reading at the time, we constantly fall over for them.

I’m in Melbourne for the game, hopeful, but reality is we’ve been too bad to suggest we’ll magically go against historical fact. So maybe Pyke won’t be so sure about the Crows’ competitiveness.

I guess time will tell

But if we do lose to such a rabble, I hope people stop worrying about the next win and do what some have suggested and have wholesale changes and accept that we have clearly overated ourselves. But accept playing youth will mean we will finish like the other teams concentrating on youth down the bottom . If we are failing like this with what some say on this board, is arguably one of the best midfields in the league, with Sloane Crouch Crouch then maybe NT Crow is right the Crouchs aren't as good as posters think. I personally would think if the midfield was superior we would be breaking fairly even.

And throw in a lot of current team. Even out of form better player than CEY. Kelly , Hartigan Murphy, and all around better game than Atkins
They really don't.

Atkins is one of our most damaging players, the issue is when he's out of form he offers nothing defensively and it shows out.

You along with some others need to get over your fascination with Mitch Grigg, he's a very good footballer at the next level.....AFL clubs have had ample opportunities to throw him a lifeline for a number of years but none have chosen to do so....they can't all be wrong. Obviously he has something in his make up they think will be found wanting at the next level.
There is a possibility he’s been approached but has decided he likes playing for Norwood. It’s happened before.

Hartigan named to line up on ziebell. Would Gibbs not be the better option for that match up? Greenwood and Gibbs and galluci and otten emergencies. Poholke and obrien still get a run.

Games are won and lost at the selection table. Don pyke has had long enough and keeps selecting the same average to middling players. Seriously questioning his ability to coach, or even select our best 22.

I think everyone is questioning his ability to select the best 22 available.

On form I would be dropping Mackay or Betts if you wanted to send a message to the players. Not happy with selections.

Eddie Betts could have been dropped "to set an example", he's been far less involved for longer and would have sent a stronger message, and wouldn't have left us with hartigan playing on ziebell. Hartigan out Gibbs in for mine. Eddie out if you want to make an example. Obrien the worst ruckman at afl level I have ever seen and nothing but a liability, Jenkins in the ruck all day would be a better option and bring in one of the emergencies in greenwood, galluci or otten with Gibbs already in instead of Betts.

I’d definitely be dropping Betts for Stengle. Betts is not doing it right. He’s still buzzing around and pressuring but can’t get a goal to save himself.
Where he’d trap a ball and slip a tackle he’s getting caught now. I haven’t seen which way Stengle has been getting goals but he’s worth a try. Pretty hard for Eddie to play differently this late in his career if it’s his current abilities rather than just form to overcome.

And hartigan. With sauce out next sure pick is obrien. Our 3 weakest links .
I’m currently torturing myself by watching last week’s game. We looked far worst live.
Obrien ain’t no Grundy but he’s also easily as good as current Jacobs.
Glaringly obvious we can’t kick goals for shit.
Betts straight in front after the Tex throw, then Sloane plus a few others.
Some shit umpiring to.
Tex 50M was pure cheating by the umpire.

David is first picked then a team built around this bull.

We build strong powerful athletes at West Lakes.

At least he has commitment and gives everything he has unlike betts and his mates

Disagree completely here. Betts has commitment and does give everything for our Club.

Betts issue is that he is cooked. There is a big difference.

Jars would be our 2019 version of Plugger Lockett.
Well at least he would make opponents struggle to breath after a solid tackle
Take a while to get up himself though :)
He would not blow over in a slight breeze
Unlike one of our players

Gosh I love Jars
