Lynch literally played as a wingman today, and not a very good one. Would prefer the extra big body in Hately

Frampton out is just obvious

McHenry, Frampton and Kelly all deserve time in the sanfl for their performance today. Lynch is not fit, rest him.

We were a mid short today, Hately comes in to share the inside duties. Thiltorpe for Frampton. Murray for Kelly to release Doedee from the 2nd kef defender role and go back to the 3rd tall/interceptor. Worrell next man in, play him as the 7th defender and push Hamill to the wing.

Would not be the worst week to give thilthorpe a look at it. He might not be ready yet or he might enjoy the potentially better service he will get and hit the ground running.

We are 3-1 and playing confident by the way we are finishing games full of running so it just seems the right time to have a look at what he can offer at the start of his career

Pedlar played very minimal midfield minutes and managed minutes so any talk of him coming in next week are pure fantasy.

Hately might be a possibility but he was a long way from dominant inside the contest to my eye. Given the coach said he has areas of his game he needed to work on did he do enough to get a call up?

Yep, agree 100%, It’s harsh but I’d drop Fog, Yeah he kicked 3 goals, but had zero influence in general play and provides less than zero forward pressure, all this talk of turning him into a part time mid is just that, talk. Until Walker is injured or his form demands he be dropped Fog doesn’t seem to have a role in this team.

Dig a bit deeper than just the goals. What does he provide? He had 5 touch’s, 5. All of them from the hard work of his teammates hitting him up on a lead. So he did absolutely nothing in general play, zero, nada, nothing. Had 1 tackle. He offers nothing Walker isn’t already providing and much more. Would rather another small who can provide defensive pressure and more touch’s in general play, go back to the two tall setup with Tex and Frampton/Berg/TT.

Scoring goals not really a major objective of the game.

Have zero confidence in Frampton to clunk marks. Someone said he was worth it as he played his role of keeping defenders out of Tex's way but after seeing him today I can absolutely confirm that isn't the case.

Kelly persists in thinking he is a silky player.
