Given we played three key backs in the GF, I imagine they will do so again and Nelson will come out. I know the Hawks are a bit short, but Schofield is in good form and can play a similar shutdown role while Tommy B & Gov run amok.

Suddenly we have our ideal backline, having essentially upgraded Cole to Shep since the GF.

This was the hardest team to pick in a long long time

Sheppard Schofield Hurn
Duggan Barrass Jetta
Redden Sheed Gaff
Rioli Darling Cripps
Ryan Kennedy Allen
NN Yeo Shuey
Petch Nelson Hutchings Hickey

Out: Gov, Masten, Cameron
In: Barrass, Rioli, NN

Cameron probably deserves to retain his spot over Petch based off this week but Petch has consistently been good with score involvements so Jarrod misses out so Rioli.

Man I remember when all we had was hill and cripps.... heck our small forward stocks is amazing atm.

Masten out allows Hutch back in to the midfield. Tagging please. Reshuffle means Hickey rucks 65 percent, Allen full time forward.

Barrass straight swap for Gov. Schofield out following week

An absolute joke gov was given a week.
As soon as I saw it I thought 'he'll get a week'.

Not because he should get a week (he shouldn't. A joke.), but because Christian always works on outcome regardless of actual intent or action. He decides on a penalty and works out a grading to achieve it.
And he has his favourite clubs and players. And WC are NOT one of his favourites. Ablett can smack someone in the head and do it for three weeks before he gets a suspension. Gov pushes someone in the contest and because a guy in a chair got in the way, he gets a week. This is as bad or worse than the stupid Natanui 'big guys can't tackle little guys' suspension.

Absolutely agree with this line right here! This is what psychopaths and sociopaths (and myself do on occasion), when people are bald-faced lying in order to justify 'how I got there'. It shows absolutely moral bankruptcy on your behalf if this is your modus operandi for how you do things in general. When the MRO is so interpretive and can be rigged to how they want, it's a farce and absolutely vulnerable to corruption of the highest order.
This is reminiscent of judging, in prize fight boxing. Dirty, and open to so much devil work.

MC is a morally bankrupt festering boil who should be lanced, and smothered in iodine.

what are we risking with a challenge for Gov .. does the suspension become 2 weeks ? if no change its a no brianer get the lawyer in.

Only because Shep was out and the others options were far less talented than Schofield defensively. With Shep available I'm not sure they'll play all the talls. Not to say it can't be done though.

Please please please challenge

Not for the team, but another epic tribunal thread.

:moustache:
Excellent and let’s bring the suitability of chairs on the oval. The security at grounds has got enough ire of late so let’s bring it in.

Gov has a reasonable case to say that the impact would have been significantly less if the chair had not been 1 metre closer to the field. Was it the fence or the chair that caused the damage?

I would love us to challenge just to see the farce.

So which inside mid will be able to benefit from the inclusion of Nicholas Tapitome against East Fremantle?

MAllen and XON have a chance to shine. Matty looks to be close so needs to seize the opportunity to make the match committee think he is NicNat’s new side kick and demand to be included against the Hawks.

Im happy to give Nelson a decent run at it. Played well last week and been playing well in the WAFL. We need one lock down small defender and its between Cole and Nelson. Keep them both hungry.

Nelson out of contract and he has earned his chance to impress. Either us or another club.

Either Cole or Nelson can be the fringe player to round off a trade deal. Cole would hold slightly more value.

Surprised to read blogs putting Cameron out. Surely he deserves another week after an exciting two goal first game? Plenty of reshuffling options next game

He's had a taste and played ok for a small forward in his first game. Rioli comes back in.

Do you think Cameron would play better than Petro as that is the other option?

Still needs to build his endurance and strength though. He will be a great player in another 2 years but until then he is cover for Ryan, Rioli, Petro and Cripps. Which is fine as one of those four will likely miss games fairly regularly over time.

Apart from speed

Defensive pressure by Cameron (7 tackles) >>> Petch defensive work.

Wait for J Cameron to receive the rising star nom this week and then get dropped... Rioli in. no challenge of the ban, no Barrass because he’s not ready, Schofield and Allen the talls down back, hickey stays in, NN returns, shep the intercepter... is brander playing today? If he plays well maybe he could slot into the back 6 somewhere, drop hickey and play Allen as the chop out ruckman for NN
