Burgess would be more of a like for like for Tex or Fogarty. We have played the three together and it does not work. Gollant has been tried in the third tall role and found wanting. For team balance I am happy with Himmelberg's inclusion as he can play back up ruck. It remains to be seen how he goes up forward, but can't be worse than anything else we have tired in Thilthorpe's absence.
Himmelberg is our best Thilthorp replacement and best for our structure of having a tall that we can bomb it in high to if we have a flooded forward line. He is our best bet for a second ruck too.

Nicks’s selection policy is abhorrent… but I wouldn’t be too quick to praise Longmuir. The Fremantle board is ah, not impressed. One of the debutants likely to be the sub, and Voss is a discard who will be in for the week and dropped. Longmuir loves his cooked senior (Walters) and honest triers (Emmett, Banfield).

As for Matthew, another step towards the end, fingers crossed for a positive result on Saturday which will hasten said end 🤞
Walters didn't looked so cooked when we played them a month ago. Absolutely tore us up.

I was worried about the Marvel show at Ent Cent clashing with a Crows game when we bought tickets before the fixture was released.

Under 24 I class as kids in afl terms
Cook
Soligo
Rachele
Worrell
Michalanney
Nankervis
Borlase
Jones
Pedlar
Hamill
McHenry

That is half the side
Borlase Hamill and McHenry should have their papers stamped already

Jones borderline

Borlase gets a pass though because his position is a need. I’d rather any of the draft picks from the last 2 years who haven’t played yet over Hamill and McHenry.
