He was. I know and what none of you seem to understand is that I don't care whether he keeps his job or not. If he can coach us to another premiership great; if we are going to keep whingeing everyday about staying in a five-star resort on the Gold Coast for a month, playing terrible footy that ruins our chances of making finals, he can fu** off.
I am not here saying anything that wasn't widely acknowledged within football circles throughout 2017. We all work in different industries. I work in an industry where that kind of information is heard regularly and when you follow up with people who sit on the Board of that club and they confirm it, then you don't need to second guess.
Contact Mark Duffield at The West and he will confirm it.
Hard to disagree with that tbh. Our flag was built on character and it seems a little lacking atm.Simmo needs to change his ways
By Damian Barrett
West Coast coach Adam Simpson is justified in publicly bemoaning his club's plight. Being stuck in a hub on the Gold Coast in order to allow the 2020 AFL season be restarted is far from ideal.
But it's a terrible look for a coach. And it's not surprising his team has lost the two matches it has played while in that hub, to Gold Coast in round two and to Brisbane on Saturday night.
Simpson should be making noises privately and not publicly. Another West Coast official – CEO Trevor Nisbett or footy department boss Craig Vozzo – should have been doing the on-record and on-camera media rounds relating to the valid unfairness of the Eagles' plight.
Simpson is as footy-smart as they come, and it was a surprise to seem him complain so publicly. But as of Monday, he needs to change his ways and inject some energy into his group, and refrain from the woe-is-us attitude.
Games are scheduled in south-east Queensland against Port Adelaide and Richmond in the next two weeks. Losses in both would be catastrophic, given there is a likelihood that at least one more game, and possibly two, will need to be played by the Eagles in Queensland before they get to return to WA.
Well, I took your advice and contacted Duffield. He was. I know and what none of you seem to understand is that I don't care whether he keeps his job or not. Well, I took your advice and contacted Duffield.
When I asked him about the "Simpson nearly getting the sack rumour", he asked me if I was talking to the guy on BF called BlueandGoldforever.
He then went onto say he only knows you by buying the Big Issue off of you.
Anyway BlueandGold, he did say you were a sweet kid.
I love this sort of completely unprovable argument.
I work in an industry where it’s pretty common knowledge that Mark McGowan is planning a military coup followed by declaring Western Australia a separate sovereign state. When I followed up with members of his cabinet and they confirmed it, I don’t need to second guess.
Contact Andrew Probyn at the West and he will confirm it for you. Or, if he says he doesn’t know what you’re talking about, it’s because he’s in on the conspiracy and that’s what he’s been told to say.
JK needs to be dropped. A while back I posted some of JK's stats from 2019 that showed his couple good games masked what was an otherwise abysmal season. 2020 is on track to be exactly the same.
Petch shouldn't be played as a forward. It doesn't suit his speed, which would be better utilised on a wing.
Out: JK, Petch, Rotham
In: Williams, Cameron/JJ, McGovern
No, my mum doesn't follow me to the toilet anymore, but your does.I don't think you would know how to dial a number. Doesn't your mother still follow you into the toilet?
But still, it must be fun repeating grade three every year knowing that one day you will actually be taller than the teacher and that will be your highest achievement in your pathetic life.
My mum is dead. Show some respect you coward. No, my mum doesn't follow me to the toilet anymore, but your does.
You brought the mums into it hero.My mum is dead. Show some respect you coward.
But then again with your IQ that would be asking too much.
Surely Stenglein comes in for Ah Chee.IN : Gov, Williams, (Petch)
OUT : Rotham, Kennedy (Cameron)
Wouldn't mind Ah Chee going out for Parto.
I gather you too don't work in the big wide world of life. You are probably another left-wing uni student trying to tell everyone how great socialism is but are too scared to either visit a socialist country or better still go and live there permanently.
CBA = Centre bounce attendances
View attachment 897417
Can someone clarify what Redden's role in the team is currently? He's not attending many centre bounces and he's not even providing a link up around the ground either.
Yea if Redden is going to play surely he should play in centre and then rotate Shuey and Kelly on the wing and in centre. Eagles need the grunt in the centre as wellHe’s being awkwardly shoehorned into the defensive wing alongside Brander. It doesn’t work, it will never work, it didn’t work in 2017 and it won’t work now.
It’s the one selection I feel really unclear about, because Simmo knows what Redden’s best role is and also knows that playing players in their best roles is the way forward. We’re fitting Redden in the team because we know he’s a good player, even though we’re giving him no chance for success awkwardly plugged in as a defensive winger.

guaranteed petch is our best on Sat mainly coz hes got pace.Im pretty sure we are talking about this year and that game from memory was early in season. Not much to crow about since then. Not doing enough as stated before runs very hard one way but not the other, agree hes not a natural footballer but he needs to get more of the ball and tackle more than has been THIS YEAR. You dont get games on form from one game 15 months ago do? Otherwise blokes would never get dropped
Good luck with that. Lazy and soft with a weak as piss underbelly.Holy sh*t. Imagine if the boys bring this much aggro against Port. We'll piss it in.
