Oh goodie, Super Sub McSpudry is back!

ROB given the arze, let's see how that goes. I'm still lamenting not getting Grundy home last trade period.

Prime time game, AFL sure getting reamed giving us these time slots

McHenry in, literally what in the **** are they doing. The guy isn't getting another contract - why play him?

You would love for your own team to lose to 17th on the ladder in a prime time game? Are you sure if that actually happened you wouldn’t be first on here cracking the shits?
Winning this doesn't benefit us, we're not playing finals and the club needs a cleanout. The best way for any change to start potentially occurring is to lose to the second bottom team at home.

How?

He didn’t play last week and the week before he played in the Reserves and hardly played a great game.
Well, well, well. Still may not play but on the Radar.

ADELAIDE

In: K.Strachan, N.McHenry, B.Dowling, W.Hamill
Out: T.Walker (back), R.O'Brien (omitted), M.Crouch (shoulder), B.Cook (injured)

Last week's sub: Sam Berry

Definitely a team picked for the now with absolutely zero planning for 2025. It’s clear that McHenry may struggle to get a contract next year, yet comes in to probably play as sub yet again; why not give Taylor a go here?

Strong rumour about Brodie Smith going out, rumour that he may not have a contract next year and a chance to play Curtin; nope, play Smith again.

What a complete missed opportunity by nicks. Curtin coming in on a wing or at half back in a game where we are favored to win at home. Get him possessing the ball and getting touches and confidence to kick start things for him back at AFL level. So what if he makes a few mistakes along the way, he needs to play at this level.

Literally i could not think if a better time to bring him in. But watch them give him a run against Sydney in Sydney or Geelong in Geelong or Brisbane in Brisbane where we will be under the pump from the off and smash his confidence further

The club talks about selection integrity. I think if a player in the SANFL is roughly equivalent to a long-established senior player, then they should be given precedence.

Strachan might be roughly the same age as O'Brien's, but in terms of AFL experience he's a baby. ROB isn't going to improve, but Strachan might given time at the top level. And even if he doesn't, if he's roughly equivalent to ROB then what's the harm in playing him?

For senior players to hold their spot, they should be clearly better than the next best young player in their position.
Yeah agree.

You will say this now and then likely crack the shits if it actually happened. It also ain’t changing the situation with Nicks right now either.

Nail on head, they are selecting the team from week to week, considering we aren't playing finals it's abysmal.

Nicks is gutless.

I would love us to lose to Richmond if it means we get rid of Nicks.

Could be another straw on the pile, I mean he has the full support of the board!!

I could care less about the result otherwise.

I want to see our team improve LONG TERM, not compare week to week against weak opposition.

The selected team has multiple non-entities AND leaves out players that we need to see perform.

All of this at a time of the year that we are clearly out of the finals - with nothing actually on the line.

Yuck.
