Can anyone tell me how Rioli is worth pick 5 in terms of trade value. Suns would be massively overpaying surely.
Hes not, Sun's have 5, 7(Lombard bid),13, 20 they can throw anything at anyone no matter how crazy it is. The drafts a rort

Some absolutely cracking CTL games on tomorrow if anyone is interested. Almost all the big guns are playing.

FOS, Jagga and Gross vs MReid, Ashcroft and possible 1R picks Armstrong and Oliver in Chargers vs Sandy would be my pick, even though Sandy should win.

Ludowyke will also go early next year.

Listening to todays episode of Back Chat at the moment and at around 30 minutes Hammer, Dan and Schoey were talking about Freo have to choose between Bolton and Warner and Schofield in like in a serious tone says Warner will be at West Coast at some point, he'll come home and will be at the Eagles...I know he's a cynically dry joker most of the time but he actually looked and sounded serious around it..so just a little something to think about.

Dont know if i want Warner if it means we miss out on 2 WA boys next year
Fred Rodriguez and Sam Swadling
If we can get Hawks future first and our natural first we should be able to get both
Swadling would give us a elite wingman again, and Rodriguez is a natural centreman
Both would be very very good pick ups

Also James Barrat vs Jack Whitlock and (potentially) Jobe Shanahan vs Matt Whitlock and Joe Berry vs Tobie Travaglia (who is playing HBF tomorrow).

Rioli and Bolton are both contracted so for the same reasons we're
claiming Barrass should attract a trade premium, so too should those two

Baker, however, is uncontracted so doesn’t warrant the same premium

In fairness, one of those is not like the others.
I mean, Tom Cole is contracted but we're not arguing that he's worth the fifth pick of the draft.

Agree, but Rioli is worth no more than Barrass. Some of the claims of his value going around are just pure fantasy

Darling plus f2 to pies for Ed Allan? No way they’d accept that but wishful thinking. Chesser was a pies fan if we ever do want to do a straight swap

Should be getting in Ed Allen's ear asap. Probably still behind all the old heads in the Wobbles midfield next year, looks a talent.
The Pies are the oldest team in footy and have had absolute nothing from half a decade of draft classes now. Yes, even when factoring in a top-five talent in Daicos for free.

They simply can't afford to let anyone go, especially not someone in Allen's age bracket. The cliff is coming so fast, in a way I'm not sure people acknowledge enough.

I’ve heard the same thing for a while. Chad’s preference is home to the eagles

Peatling would be a walk up starter in our midfield next year for sure, would free up Kelly a bit to play off HFF and allows Hewett/Reid to rotate in and out of the midfield and forward with Kelly. Can take Duggan out of there and move him back to the wing or to half back where he and Gov can be our 2 defensive leaders

Hes a strong defensive mid who tackles a lot and a perfect age. Absolutely ideal target hes priority #1 for me
Agreed with this.
Peatling would be a fantastic fit for our midfield.
Him with the runoured addition of Jack Graham (for free), we can expect some massive improvements already in the midfield department on the defensive side... and hopefully some added protection for Harley

Think he ends up as DFA?
What’s the mechanism for Blight? If he doesn’t extend his six month MSD contract do we have to trade.
My understanding is if he is offered a contract by Richmond (like Baker) that he rejects then he would need to nominate and come via the PSD unless a trade was agreed upon.

If Richmond do not offer to extend his contract then yes, he would qualify as a DFA and could go to his club of choice.

Some nice talent on that list. I hope we somehow end up with Bo Allan and Clancy Dennis. I like Artemis too.
