No injuries and a good win with many contributors, cant ask for much more than that. Hoping these past few weeks will spike up the playing groups confidence.

Mills will be important in September with his role. Roberts continues to impress too, genuine gun.

Did what we needed to do, definitely felt like we could have picked up the intensity at any point we wanted as well which is great.

Adelaide have been in decent touch recently, so a good solid win without Heeney, McCartin, McInerney and Papley is brilliant.

Going to be interesting to see the changes we make at finals.

Even though he tapered off Chad’s first half was very good too. Nice for the other forwards to kick goals other than Hayward

We will murder every team in the finals series

The boys have remembered how to score. Early on in the season there was no panic if oppo teams kicked goals because we were so effective hitting the scoreboard.

Good luck to the rest of the comp

It was quite promising having 13 goals on the board before HT.

Did what we needed to do.
Finished the season off with a comfortable win, minor premiers and heck we even won the first qtr. :thumbsu:

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere (of course could have missed it) but after our first goal a guy in a pink shirt, directly behind the goal, gave the white power/OK sign. (No doubt which one it was).
Didn't see him again, hopefully appropriately dealt with.

Zero complaints really....maybe would have liked Amartey to clunk a couple he should have swallowed + Hayward nailing at least one of his two set shots but that would be nitpicking.

Absolutely stoked with Blakey and Roberts down back. Coupled with Mills return to form, I am confident that we will be rock solid down back with McCartin's return.

Hopefully a clean bill of health for finals. Bring on whoever, I respect all teams in the finals but fear nobody. I'm sure the players feel the same way.

Sydney Swans - 2024 minor premiers!!

  • Started better with our intent to move the ball even though defence wasn't great. Won a first qtr. Middle 2 quarters were good, understandably completely shut up shop in the last.
  • Tall forwards were better in terms of not getting out marked and competing in the air. Amartey still dropped way too many easy ones he shouldn't have, McLean and McDonald were pretty good though.
  • Blakey back to his best. Parker looked the most dangerous forward when it mattered. Gulden and Warner set the win up in the first half. Jordon good job on Judas. Defenders hit the scoreboard was nice.
  • Despite making it harder than it needed to be second half of the year, game clear on top of the ladder. There was a horror show fortnight thrown in there, but overall a very good H & A season...really only 3 poor games all year. Looks like we'll have almost all our best 22 available for week 1....this is as good a chance as you'll ever have, absolutely must cash in on this.

If we’d been downhill skiing we’d have nudged up a mediocre % with a 70 pt win. What Geelong did this afternoon was downhill skiing.
Yeah guess I meant we cruised.
