Don’t think it’s mental, I think it will click quickly as this group continue to get experience. Finals would be great this year but I don’t think make a difference to 2024.

Given that your blind optimism has been correct precisely zero percent of the time, i'm sure just backing the club in and waiting will work this time.

When are people going to stop making excuses for Thilthorpe, yeah he's young and talls take time but he is not a 85kg string bean he's an athletic 202cm 105kg man mountain, he should be hitting the contest with much more intent and aggression.
Your last sentence is why he won't be a proper key forward.

Maybe a roaming CHF type forward.

He is a Ruckman/midfielder.

See his deft tap to Sloane. Two years time that will be his bread and butter.

If what you're saying is correct, he's a bust and we should fire Hamish.

Thankfully it's nonsense. And we should fire Hamish.

I don't disagree with you, but it hasn't clicked for him yet. Nicks should have another plan to get him into the game.

RT has amazing skills for a big guy, we aren't seeing enough of it.

He is not a ruckman's bootlace at AFL level, not now, not ever.

Why do you only hate our talented players?

Apart from five minutes of Charlie Cameron carnage, our backline was very good today.

Daniher and Hipwood could have easily dominated today.

Daniher's only contribution came from a dodgy free kick.

A few sloppy errors early. Nank handball cost is a goal. Borlase dropping a chest mark cost is a goal. But they stood up well over the four quarters.

I don't hate any player for your information but Thilthorpe with his size and athleticism should be playing with more intent and aggression at the contest surely you can see that.

Some hard markers on this board, the lad's gave their all and came up one kick short against a genuine Premiership contender on their home deck with a very inexperienced backline against one of the most dangerous if not the most dangerous forward set ups in the AFL. One ball bounced the other way and we win the game.

I reckon 95% of people are lying if they say we haven’t had a better season than they thought we would have at the start of the year

Full strength Brisbane - we got closer to them than anyone else with key personnel out

Bitterly disappointing but a great effort

Good: I likoKeays game, Crouch’s game. Is it me or has Milera matured in recent games?
Bad: really silly turnovers that were due to poor skills as opposed to opposition pressure.
Ugly: inability to win away again!

Brilliant: Matildas won!!!!

Watching it at the ground, his hands are excellent but when things are being set up he's often positioning himself slightly under the ball. Not sure what the solution to that is.

So good to see Schoenberg coming good , huge player for us next year hopefully he never looks back

These losses are too much to take

Unfort need another pre season

Rachele - was good to see him and his zest back

Sloane needs to retire as we all know

Rach looked much better this week. Spewing he hit the post though!!

Yeah I tend to agree. He’s not exactly bruise free footy, but he’s not doing enough to influence his presence when the ball is not being perfectly delivered to him.
