Shock Horror. A side many tipped to be top 4 pumping a side everyone tipped to be bottom 4.
Hawks prob just eyeing off round 18

Agreed,
These type of rebuilds, week in week out are hard work.
Being belted by 50 points or more 8 times in their 15 games this year shows how poor the team is at this level.
Mitchell, like all coaches in this situation, has his work cut out for him …

"Times like these"

We have a clear direction and our list is performing to its highest capability. I'm not surprised that a Carlton fan doesn't recognise that when they see it.

Yeah … times like these …

A racism investigation of which possible ramifications would have devastating effects for the rebuild to say nothing of the damage done to the club’s reputation.

A CEO that abruptly resigned on the back of the racism scandal.

Imminent loss of Tasmanian membership and sponsorship.

A stalled Dingley project with significant downgrades reported likely.

A rookie coach going at 32% which will get worse before/if it gets better as the losses continue to mount in this type of rebuild.

The team in 16th position with its highest ranked draftee rated behind Frost, Blanck and Fergus Greene down the spine.

The team being belted by 50 points or more in 8 of its 15 games this season so far.

These are just some of the things a Carlton supporter can recognise.
Imagine what a Collingwood or Port Adelaide supporter could recognise 🤪

Wow all of that overrides my memories of 4 premierships last 15 years while the Blues have won what 10 spoons or whatever in that time I’ve lost count 😂

Like most Hawk fans still very optimistic on the path that we are taking and still way to early to tell grasshopper but a good indication will be when most of the kids get to 75-100 games. Until then if it makes you feel good in life sure kick us while we are down and enjoy another long summer. Still remember that rd 23 game last year ….. that was a cracker!

LOL, the racism investigation which has gone awfullly quiet. Could still find something I guess if you cross all your fingers and toes, but it’s not looking good for your dreams of a draft pick penalty. And even if it did, it would merely be a bump in the rebuild.

A CEO that read the tea leaves and quit before being sacked.

Imminent singing of a new major sponsor.

A state of the art $100m training facility and community centre being delivered in 2024, just 15 minutes from Bayside suburbs. 😍

A young coach with a plan that has transformed the worst midfield in the comp to the most improved, with the youngest group in the comp.

A team with a young developing defender, who’s not being rushed while we rebuild.

A team that has beaten 2 top 8 sides in their last 5 games.

We can all recognize a desperate Carlton fan when we see one, because nothing has changed for 15+ years.

You're right, it's all just so overwhelming, thank you for being a beacon in our hour of darkness. I think we all need a hug.

And so the losses continue to mount

Week after week

Month after month

These rebuilds are hard work …
Well given today they played a much better side than Carltank the other week given the ladder positions, playing away and were in the game for most of the time ……. the rebuild is tracking very well. Thank you for your genuine concern.

Have to wonder where Mitchell see’s DGB in the rebuild.
Tried forward today for 4 possessions with 2 turnovers …
Well at the moment young DGB would probably struggle to get into Carltanks great well established key position forward/back line that is the driving force behind it’s strong ladder position ……… one spot above the Hawks!

Reckon trying to salvage something during trade week would cross Mitchell’s mind at some stage.
These kind of rebuilds are tough …

Tell me you just come here after the results and don't watch the games without telling me you come here after results and don't watch the games.

I'll tell you one thing, he's better than McKay up forward.

You just keep repeating the same thing. Thing is were not tanking so you're in the wrong thread. As far as rebuild, we have arguably one of the best youth players in the league. I would argue in the top 3. Where as Carlton are down the bottom.

Threads not about Carlton.
