Probably need to get better at the Tribunal as well like your mob; with the 3 week suspension to Sicily and the 2 weeks given to Will Day for legitimate tackles.

I wouldn't bother responding, his replies show a clear lack of nuance, knowledge and understanding.

WTF. I have never seen this level of blatant tanking acceptance by a club. Sam Mitchell outright said he wanted to tank and not meddle around in the middle. Their trade period.

Are the ******* AFL going to step in and do something? AFL need to go down hard on Hawks and strip them of picks

I've never seen another club purposely and blatantly tank. It's unfair they are doing that to obtain a generational player in Harley Reid

They are completely compromising the draft!!!
I do love this thread was created by a West Coast supporter

And the losses continue to mount as the rebuild grinds on and on and on.
Never believed the hawks were tanking but it’s hard to accept they haven’t got better defensive options than Frost and Bramble.
Hard yards indeed for a rookie coach …
The desperation is dripping from your post, but I'd be pissed too if my club needed the Saints to lose. Unlucky.

Frost and Bramble were appalling in defence today.
Understand that DGB has been dropped 4 times already this season but he snagged a few in the reserves so maybe a confidence boost for him.
Maybe fifth time lucky for him … could it be worse than Frost or Bramble ?
Bramble is an uncontracted fringe player. Making out like he's a key part of our rebuild is humorous.

As is making out like Frost some key pillar for the next 5 years.

All the more staggering/disappointing that DGB is rated behind these guys then …
DGB has been developing as a forward for over a month, kicked another 5 yesterday.

Being subbed out statless as a forward at half time last week suggests he needs a fair bit of developing.
He was drafted with pick 6 as a defender.
Surely, for the rest of the season he’s a better bet in defence than Frost and Bramble …

Bramble is a fringe small defender/flanker. That you keep referencing him like he's some big part of our team is funny.

DGB has kicked 9 goals in his last 2 VFL outings, it makes sense to keep developing him there.

You wouldn’t want to be holding your breath waiting for him to “develop” to AFL forward standard …

…? They aren’t going to do a carlton/Essendon/saints hatchet job on him anytime soon

He'll either develop there, he'll go back to defense, or he'll not make it.
It won't define our rebuild either way, because as Hawthorn does more often than any other club in living memory we continue to find a way forward and find players that will take us to our next flag. :kissingheart:

Good to know … very impressed 👍

Yes. Someone who spent his life playing defence takes a while to become a forward. And is doing well at VFL level but not quite right at AFL level.

We can afford to hold our breath for a little bit.
