Is 25 so should supposedly be in his prime. But has been that average that his value has actually gone DOWN this year.

Not really saying much here I don't think. I won't do the research, but has ANY NM player made an AA squad / team since McKay has been playing his 63 ish games? How many Brownlow votes has the entire NM club accumulated since his debut?

It would be shithouse being a member of a team that has been so poor for so long - regardless of his injury issues.

Collingwood's interest in Lycett probably comes as news to Collingwood. Well played Scott's manager, I'm sure Port's latest offer is commensurate with Scott's ability to get on the oval and he's trying to give it a bump. As Eddie once said, Collingwood get linked to every player who is looking for a better deal from his own club.

I thought Port chasing Fort was the media having a larf, but it sort of makes sense in that he is a ready made option to fill in when Scott will inevitably need a recovery phase and Fort is useful enough to play alongside Scott in some cases. He's a short term option to give Visentini more phasing in time. Fort's also familiar with Adelaide having played a few years at Centrals.

And yes I know Sam Hayes yada yada, but we all know he is dead in the water at Alberton.

If it were possible, who here would pay 2 first rounders, say between 12 and 18, for Sam Draper?

I personally would as a quality big athletic ruckman adds a lot to a team in my opinion.

Plenty of others in footy circles don't rate ruckman and think any big doofus can hold down the position. Admittedly there is data that suggests that's true eg Geelong and Richmond's rucks not being super high quality in their flag years.

Disagree with Richmond. Nankervis was way underrated imo.

Full credit to Sydney, they are a very well run club who waste no time in addressing their list shortcomings. Barrass is contracted & is also a Perth lad, so to land one of the best KPD in his prime would be a great coup.
