A day after Angus Brayshaw retires due to concussion, Sam Powell-Pepper decides to go and do this...

They told you he was threatening a woman via direct message multiple times. That's enough to justify the sacking and if he disagrees he can take them to court.

I think the woman and Thomas's right to privacy trump any public interest in this case.
So he didn’t bash her?

Absolutely not confident in Blues/Saints due to often collapsing under the weight of expectations, theres always the chance of second year blues with the Giants coaching staff and some of their players, Sydney struggled for a lot of last year and are a few key injuries from being a 10th placed side, and the Lions players are getting older so theres a chance they drop off as well.

Jeez the Polec trade by North in retrospect is now just so, so bad.

Thomas, whose academy selection drove down the value of North's first and basically drove the trade, now delisted in disgrace. Polec, Pittard I have nothing positive to add

Butters, vice captain at Port. Close to their best player.

Wow.

Is it worse than the Kennedy or Betts trades from Carlton a decade ago?

I would say comfortably yes.

The draft value lost for Kennedy wasn't in the same category even though in end that 2017 draft was strong late.

The Betts move I can forgive because eddie was a free agent even though it looks bad in retrospect.

The Polec trade was North giving up an ace to get a king back knowing they still had an ace up the sleeve. But they got back a 2 and the card up their sleeve was a 2.

Apart from Collingwood and Brisbane I wouldn't really be banking on anyone to make the 8.

Carlton and GWS basically only played 8 weeks of good footy to get in last year. If either reverted to early season form I would not be shocked.

I'd love to know his logic on the Saints. From the midway point of the season last year they won 5 games. West Coast, North Melbourne, Hawthorn and then Richmond (R22) and Geelong (R23) when both teams had well and truly put the cue in the rack. Then they beat Freo in Melbourne, Carlton, GWS early in the season when they all sucked. They were absolutely kissed on the dick with playing teams at the right time last season.

I just rember a couple of months into the season kennedy and betts had kicked more goals than carlton had combined.

I care very much! We can't afford another thrashing at the hands of your mob again, it will set the tone for the rest of the year.
We were poor and lost to Gold Coast in a preseason match in 2022, look how that ended up.
