Was it a mistake to select Dean for this game? He did some good things but looked out of his depth
Yeah its really not that bad. If this was middle of the season, then fair enough, but it's not even round 1, it's before that, and we came off a Premiership. It would have been nice to have a first game against a team like the Tigers, but we played the team that will prob replace the Lions as the biggest team to challenge this season. The skill level is what I expect a rusty, pre season team to look like, which still would have been enough to win against the majority of other sides.Nothing Short then F**king Weak as Piss Collingwood tonight
Only Steele/Nick/Maynard(Work on Greene) be a Postive.
Rest was s**t at Best
Yes it's the 1st Game of the Season so not writing our Season Off but Some Very Worrying Signs Tonight
Worst Game we played vs Dogs in 2022
All Kicking was Poor Tonight. Intensity was no where near it should be for Regular Season
Had no Plan B as we just Kept Bombing the Ball forward.
Hopefully just a Massive Wake Up Call for the Team and we come out Firing vs Swans Friday Night
I don't think AJ should be anywhere on the ground for a long spell. He has failed repeatedly in pressure games and simply looks fragile in the contest. Reef may not be the answer but he has a red hot go.Reef is less of a KPF than Johnson though may contribute more goals than AJ if played in Elliott's role.
There's a real reluctance to admit that we are gong to have to play the entire year without a class tall up forward.I don't think AJ should be anywhere on the ground for a long spell. Nick - 34 disposals, 10 clearances (16 contested!) and 8 inside 50s
Yep, it's like we went out there with baby oil on our hands.Comedy of errors from start to finish
no, not in the best 3 on the ground, clearly our best.He was good but... not in the votes for me!
Was it any different last yearThere's a real reluctance to admit that we are gong to have to play the entire year without a class tall up forward.
He was given a baptism of fire. The Giants were pumped up and red hot and our defense was already missing two of our best defenders. He deserves another chance to settle into his role. Was it a mistake to select Dean for this game? He did some good things but looked out of his depth
No reluctance. It's a fact of life...but Reef may be able to snag a goal or two and play a role in simply making a contest. There's a real reluctance to admit that we are gong to have to play the entire year without a class tall up forward.
Waiting for Volkane-o to mention too many hangers on in the rooms.Giants have just won the flag the way they are celebrating in the rooms!
We will regroup and make it count when it matters.
The over the top negativity from some is ridiculous.Way too many doomers after a game in a round that wasn't even given a proper number. And I'm usually pretty pessimistic. Settle down.

Like in the GF?We really want someone to take towering marks and kick goals.
