I fully expected Jones in and a reshuffle to our backline. He’s not Oscar Ryan but he’s an untried kid. This is what rebuilds are for.

Hoping for some more changes. Like many I desperately want us to play Curtin more to accelerate his development.

Not overly fussed on the actual game result as losing pretty much secures pick 4, but of course I want to see wins.

I’m not displeased by Bonds selection. My first choice would have been Ryan but Bond has been serviceable in the sanfl. Worth a look at afl level.

How about the fact that everyone except the happy clappers realise it's not that "Nicks plays a kid", it's the fact that he only does when there's injuries to his senior players and not when the senior players should be dropped for continuous poor form?

No he's not necessarily, he's certainly always been defensively attuned and an absolute 2 way runner but he's now playing exactly to the role the coaches have set for him.

I honestly never really expected Bond to ever play until Nicks started talking him up a few weeks ago. He has done a few very good lockdown jobs in the SANFL. Put him on Higgins and see how he goes.

He was always drafted as the Luke Brown replacement. And that’s not a sexy job. Not everyone gets to run around and chase the ball
