There's a reason he hasn't been delisted

Can play down back, above his height too

Can even go forward

And can even do a run with

He's a decent kick

And he's a tough nut

..........and possibly the main reason being just how good a clubman and mentor he is.

If BB is not coach of the year, then the award should scrapped. Bryce Gibbs.....and I have been a huge critic, has come back with a vengeance. Good on him. We stuck it up the biggest flat track bullies in the competition. Scott has turned this team into a bunch of marsh mellows. Dare I say the 'F' word?
just you try it......
Does anyone know when the club will be releasing it's Grand Final packages?

:p:D
u idiot

Im all for booing Henderson, he used to be one of my favourites. I tried to defend him even after he had checked out halfway through last year.

Boo him for life for all I care. You leave in those circumstances you deserve it.

I wont boo Bell, nor Betts or even Garlett, nor Robbo, but Henderson - yes.

Incredible the players that are in career best form (Rowe, Armfield, White) had been almost universally written off and Bolton's ability to extract effort and find important roles for some of those guys has been pivotal to our ascension.

Had he come in an alienated those older guys, restricted their game-time or confined them to the 2nds we wouldn't have such a healthy competition for spots. Not only have they been rejuvenated, they've become important pieces of the puzzle.

It's also brought back some spirit and belief among the group. Everyone feels valued and anyone at any given time feels like they can come in and make a contribution.

Imagine if you would have told us 12 months ago we'd beat the Cats with Bryce Gibbs BOG, Rowe restricting Hawkins to 1 goal, Andrejs Everitt and Jed Lamb kicking clutch goals and Curnow limiting Selwood to just 15 possessions.

Remarkable turnaround in both culture and performance.

Sorry, but I've never liked the booing of ex players. Different if a bloke commits some kind of cowardly hit on one of your players, then sure, go your hardest. But other than that, I'm not a fan.

Why not?

Depends on the circumstances of them leaving (I won't be booing bell next week), but it's just a bit of fun and puts a bit of extra pressure on the player.

Hendos stance of "this is too hard I'm going gunna go play loose man in defence at Geelong" is definitely boo worthy.

Hope you don't mind a Cat fan coming in here.
Thought it was a great win by your team, was worried pre match, and my fears were founded.and was great to see Kreuzer line up and show his skills- have always rated him.
Gibbs loves playing us and I think we've had a couple of lucky wins against you in the past, no chance today.
Really liked Armfield's game too- been unlucky with injury as well and was great.
And Everitt- always eats us.
No reason top 8 is not a realistic aim.
Keep our lid on ffs, Vdubs!

Boltons presser is a must see

Talks about the players putting team first , showing care for each other

Talks about pressure being key

Talks about Kreuzer being the soul of the place

Says the best thing about Bryce is he doesn't get satisfied after a good game

Mentions how Doc really invests himself in the game plan and how that is a reason he was put in the LG so early

Nah screw him
He didn't back the club
Thought he'd go to a top team
Easier that way

Well who won today??

Credit to Gibbs for staying Blue

What are records worth? We had a good one against you guys at Etihad- all past history now. Would be mightily surprised if you don't beat both those teams, but... all on the day I guess.
People forget we beat Geelong at the MCG in 2009 (with Fev) & 2010 (without Fev).
I know lot's have changed since then but 5 years ago in 2011, had we beaten West Coast in Perth (we lost by a less than a kick) the week after we would've played Geelong at the G' for a spot in the Grand Final against Collingwood. Would've loved to have seen that!!! Happy to finally beat the Etihad curse though.

Unless Mrs Henderson does indeed frequent Bigfooty, there's nothing wrong with a bit of post game banter directed toward a former player.

He was an aberration with his lack of effort last year and his mother calling up SEN was the icing on the cake. She demanded Carlton give him a game despite Hendo telling the group he'd be shipping down the highway to an easy contract.

No respect for either.

Mrs. Henderson probably has 3 accounts trawling around defending her stain of a son. **** 'em both and go the mighty baggers, stuck it right up 'em.

1970 grand final, the 1979 grand final, the 1981 grand final... just to name 3 :D

In my lifetime only one of those occurred and that happened before I was two.

As I said... arguably the gutsiest victory in my lifetime of following the club.

Edit: gutsiest - not greatest

What a game by Gibbs he was absolutely everywhere. I hope the few on here that have being calling for Dre to be dropped finally get that having a player of his class who can actually kick straight is kinda important. That is 4 wins from 4 visits to the footy for my 7 year old so he is pumped. I also have an unhealthy love for Bolts right now.

I'm certainly not defending Henderson, I was as frustrated with him as anyone. But personally, I'd rather cheer my side on and leave the booing for the evil pirates in children's pantomimes...

i watched lamb closely today. give the kid credit as he works and works between our goals and hb. never stops. the issue i have is his decision making is poor. just not sure if its fatigue or its a flaw in his game, but it needs improving. i still don't see enough in him yet to suggest he's a long term dangerous forward

I have noticed a latent bisexual urge in many posters.......not that there is anything wrong with that.

Interesting stat if it hasn't been mentioned already. In each quarter Cats scored 3 goals.

Our 6 goal second quarter is where we won it. Very surprised they couldn't put more scoreboard pressure on us in the last quarter considering we had two on the bench for most of the game. We showed some brilliant resolve today. Something that's been missing since 2011.
