Not to mention the two he gave off! His pace has and (never thought i would say this) decision making have been so important since his return. And the heard and soul he brings to the group is immeasurable

Systems and structures bring players like armfield and white to the top because they have real endeavour. But their limited skills need the systems and structures to thrive. I am not surprised either are doing well

By your logic, we should boo every player from every side, every week. That will get us a premiership...
Look, you wanna boo, boo. I don't care. It's just not for me... Moving on.
To those who want to boo ask yourselves this question. Would the coach you are all crazy about, Bolts, be someone who booed opposition players? No is the correct answer. Bolts personifies a more balanced, reflective approach to playing and watching football. Get with the program!!!

Couple of points to add my 2 cents too...

Henderson wasn't worth booing today.

Defended Gibbs for a few years now (although that shot he missed a few weeks ago on the siren), but I actually think he's grown as an inside mid. If he can't get to it he works so hard to put it to advantage. Amazing vision.

Now other observations - hasn't been mentioned much but (with all due respect to Kruez) heart and soul = Kade Simpson. Fair dinkum the amount of times that skinny little rake goes back with it knowing he's going to cop a whack is unbelievable. I'd also comment that his disposal is improving since the start of the season.

All of a sudden, I don't feel as nervous when Levi's having a shot on goal, no reason, just that intangible feeling about footy you sometimes get.

Been mentioned about Doc, but it's not just what he does in defence, it's that when he moves it out of the back half, it goes forward effectively more often than not.

I thought that Walker gained a bit if confidence when he had to go back against Port, but he really stood up in the front half. Good game.

Couldn't wipe the smile off my face singing the song with my two little ones belting out DA DADA DA DA standing on their seats, grinning from ear to ear! A win like that, it's what going to the footy's all about. Thanks Bolts, thank Blue boys.

GO BLUES!

Hendo is the only ex blue i've booed. He can eat a bag of dicks.
Im th e same. I dont mind when players leave - Betts, Kennedy, even Waite. All gave our club service, moved on, and im happy for them.

Henderson quit on the club, while under contract, when we were at our darkest point. Did things totally the wrong way and deserves to cop it imo

The Kruezer chase that resulted in Dochertys smothering Guthrie in the 2nd quarter was the play of the day for mine. After that we went to another level and didn't look back. Brilliant performance

Kreuzer just didnt stop. I thought he was going to pull up... but he kept on going and going. He just kept chasing until the turnover. Just relentless.

Another weekend where I cannot see or hear anything of the match and ............. we win !!

Obviously I am going to have to keep up this tradition even if it kills me.

What the hell is in the water down there at Princes Park ?? Players are recovering from serious injury in a quarter of the time expected and non-performers are now performing.

I've said it once but I'll say it again ............ "just imagine what this Bolton chap is going to do when he gets a playing list of serious depth & talent" ??

If he can get his team to knock over a potential flag contender after only 10-games, then we could be looking at one of the biggest dynasties ever seen in this competition.

And to whoever that young poster was who said both Kreuzer & Casboult would certainly play even though I poo-hooed the idea - well played lad. :thumbsu:

booing is a great tradition of the game.

Get off your high horse. It's fair enough for supporters to show what they think of him given the circumstances of his departure. I'm sure it's not going to happen forever.

Next you'll be calling for a ban on booing bad umpiring decisions. May be you should watch the games at home on your TV.

Bolts keeping his win/loss record well into the positive. Currently at 66%, most would have thought it would be 33% at this stage of the year.

I'm 36. Have been a member almost from the day I was born

What were gutsy wins that you can remember?

The Port win and the Bulldogs win a couple of years ago, the Bombers game a decade ago but that was on the available personnel rather than playing 90% of the game two down.

I don't really want to separate them all too much, but the 1979 GF and the 1999 Prelim Final are my favourites. But I'm old enough to have seen plenty. Including today now, for sure.
