I’ve liked how Yze will try different things. Liked how he matched up Hugo against one of the best runners in the game Langdon, the Pickett move was good, also like how he tried to overpower Gawn with 2 rucks today.

Our kicking is getting better, we are finding pockets of space between the zones a lot easier week by week so that’s another positive. Brown is going to be a serious player for us

I have no complaints on Yze. I think the I50 stuff looks terrible, but is that design or execution? And who are we meant to kick to?

We effectively have the worst forwardline in the league and the most fragile midfield in the league in regards to attrition but also ability. We can complete in the middle, but we can also get slaughtered out of it with even just young elite talent ala Gold Coast & Eagles. The backline is either too old or too young. He has **** all to play with, even before the injuries

Loved the way Adem spoke about us, you could tell he was proud, you could also tell he just wants us to be competitive which we were....... and he knows damn well like the rest of us that we are going to run out of steam and get reamed by 50/50s they get and we don't. (he dropped a clever subtle hint)

And dusty can no longer be our match winner most weeks, so keeps him fresh and mentoring our youngsters on and off the field.

I can cop loosing fair and square, but when it involves umpires gifting the oppo all game it just makes me want to distance myself from afl

many tigers in same boat
It was a tight game until the slags in green decided to only pay melb free kicks

Gunna be a painful few years sadly. The positives are that these injuries are giving valuable games into our kids. Give me a bottom 4 finish and a proper clean out come seasons end.
Kids making mistakes I can handle because when they do the few things that excite and show progress it is worth it. What I cant handle is bad effort and wonky umpiring. We got real shithouse umpiring tonight and it is a real trend that is making me seriously consider walking away from the game altogether.

What is the point of even watching if the rules are different?

Still can’t believe people are putting in teams for our next game with JGTI in it. He should be first man dropped.
And to think Cumbo still can't get a game. A few weeks ago everyone was saying Hugo doesn't deserve to play but his game tonight was very good. The same could happen to Cumbo given some encouragement and confidence. But Kosi will be rushed in because of his amazing effort today FFS.

Pickett was good. At least he touched the ball. Something our midfield has struggled with lately. Definitely made life hard for Petracca.

He just turns it over way too much. It's literally a coin toss whenever he gets the ball as to where it will end up.

We we never winning that game. Too many players out and young players get tired and can no longer execute a game plan and umps.

In anyone didn't read the artical by Barrett that came out immediately after the cocaine testing scandal it basically said Richmond behaved badly in the hub and you can't talk your way out of these things you can only behave your way out. How this relates to the cocaine issue I don't know but it's still indicative of how the AFL think.
And this from a journo that works for the CFL. The obvious question to ask is "behave your way out of what?". - we all know what the answer is, it's the biased umpiring. They are not trying to hide it, it's punishment.

It would be really great if we could keep Liam Baker.
For sure…He’s a heart and soul player that don’t come around often…And an old fashioned utility at 26…First rounder (undiluted) and second rounder to start…

So with 13:36 left in the third quarter as Young took a free for deliberate they were 8 - 10 Melbournes way. Hard to fathom they would get 14 more and we would get only 4 more.
I had a Melb supporter next to me who thought it was wrong but was glad to take the frees

Took my son so he could experience Anzac ceremony at night
I won’t be going to another game though until the club does / says something about the umpiring , it truly was putrid yet again !! I counted at least 8 frees missed to us and I was sitting in row BB punt road end and could see they were there but not given !!! Shemons throw the ball all night , touch them at all and it was free , Shemons immune to holding the ball , etc etc .

On the game it’self Shemons just waltzed it out of defence with ease how many times ffs man up , Nank turnover goal costly just when we had momentum again , broad fumble goal as well , we turned it over to much . And wtf do players high five each other after a turnover results in a goal fmd
