The grand delusions on the Norf board is great reading 😂. They actually think they have a great young list and will surpass us next year and our list is average😂😂.

They couldn't beat half a VFL team that didnt get out of second gear till the last quarter.

News flash Norf, when Aaron Hall is your highest ranked player, let me tell you, you aint goin anywhere fast. 😜

Their youf is dog shit.

Really happy with the response, fine that we started poorly after a poor build up and bruise free game last week. Great signs that the coaches and players worked through it.

Not sure a better team would have let us get back into it but we take the lessons.

Happy with Durham, that was what we needed.

I keep seeing little glimpses of what Ham can do, actually showed a bit in the air today. Needs a licence to have a shot when breaking 50.

Wright was huge and really think if we don't want to blow our draft capital on a kpf and gave him the title as number 1 man in the 50 the confidence boost and another preseason will see him hold it down fine.
He's only 24 and was in a development black hole for his formative years.

Huge from Hep, Stringer, Merrett and Parish.

Draper was good, will be better once his tank improves a bit more. Tank and kicking need to be his goals this offseason.
Surprised he has some detractors in the game thread.

North are doing this perfectly, game style is bedding and getting some great performances but still keeping access to number 1 pick.
Tarryn Thomas is such a good player. They will be good pretty soon.
Off a short break with a heap of travel, incredible performance by them, lots to be proud of.

Thought Heppell was immense for the full four quarters. When everyone seemed flat and flustered, he was composed and showed great leadership. When he took that contested mark and got cleaned up afterwards, that turned the tide.

Draper was magnificent in the ruck. Didn’t win the hitouts but I thought he was great around the ground and provided a lot of toughness. Wright keeps impressing - probably one of his top performances of the year.

Stringer, what more can you really say. He was the difference. Perkins did some nice things. Can’t wait until he builds his tank and can put in four quarter performances. Quality debut from Durham - we might’ve found another little gem in the MSD.

Wasn’t pretty but we got the job done and sometimes that’s all that matters.

Heppell's second half of the season has been very good.

Ridley deserves some credit. When our whole team was sh*t in the first half he was composed and setup multiple goals with nice kicks from the back half, whilst saving a few himself
He and Heppell, you’re spot on.

Hope he's got someone to give him a hug. fu** he's horrible commentating North.

Him and Healy made in almost unlistenable. And in reply to your question in the other thread (that I can't answer there coz it's locked) if you were asking about the free kick to Stringer. Very ticky touchwood. If it'd been paid against us I'd have been fairly unhappy. Given it was 24-11 (with a useless free paid to us with 5 seconds to go) against us I'll allow it.

We were very very ordinary. No pressure. Lost count of how many times we let them go end to end without even looking like touching it.

That said, Essington loses that game. To work back into it, and respond again in the last, was a good sign for the second youngest team running around this weekend. 9 players under 50 games.

Wow their supporters are seriously deluded (I just took a peak at their autopsy thread).

They are far and away the most bitter, deluded flogs on this site. Rod Stroker, Teffy, Rory, Wild Bill and now the new one on the main board are all oxygen thieves.
