Hawkins was absolutely smashed by Tarrant and he was probably our best defender on the dayHawkins got 5 score involvements. lol
Me too, I think they dug in after Dion got sniped, just shows how good they can be.so proud of the boys. they dug deep and probably should have won that one.
That got me steamed up like a nuclear plant, what a disgrace by the umpires. Why wasn’t the game stopped when Prestia got whacked! It was play on for a full 3 or 4 minutes. Absolute Barry Crocker s**t! Corruption. Crock! I’m mad!
Against Lynch as DeKonning was out muscled and fell over his own feetWhat was the Jack mark free against for?
It was obvious last week that Judson was a dear in the headlights when the heat came on, agree that Stack should have been inOut Jusdon Clarke in Stack. Judson is not strong enough over the ball
Baker is a champion and Pickett was fantastic.
he was involved in 5/24 of their scores which is over 20%. Do your maths before you start calling people names. It's irrelevant what has happened in other games as Hawkins still held his own today. He’s averaged 8 score involvements and 2.6 goals a game this season you imbecile
Which is horseshit because they penalised Lynch for doing what De Koning had been doing to gim all night without repercussions.

Just cop the loss mate
You made a bad call, we all do sometimes but no point making a fool of yourself and trying to double down

Ross, Best game for the club and disposal passable, is showing steady improvement and should cement a spot in the 22 by years endIs this pre-written or are you just clueless? Ross was unbelievable and Maurice was clutch.
Me too, I think they dug in after Dion got sniped, just shows how good they can be.
Go say it on the Geelong board champ - if you are not with us you're against usMate childish. Don't blame the ump. HAHAHA I always find it ridiculous how supporters on this board think umps have it in specifically for us. Theway we play insights frees, Hardwick has said this.
If this is all you have it’s not the win you think it is, he was forced to play up the ground and try and get a match up on smaller players to get involved because whenever he went inside 50 Taz wore him like a gloveHawkins was involved in 20% of their scores.
Lynch holding, but they both were. What was the Jack mark free against for?
For the hope that geelong would kick a goal. I was at the richmond cheersquad end right in front of the contest amd the free against lynch was about as criminal as you can get. The geelong player had no idea he initially got the free. What was the Jack mark free against for?
Love this club but done with this sport.
Best game of footy of the year, and yes, we did get the rub of the green.Heartrate still near maximum. Awesome, awesome game.
A few concerning things - I'm not sure we can carry both MRJ and Clarke in the same forward line - while they both run hard, they are both still soft as butter, don't stick the hard tackles and too easily pushed around (having said that, I was extremely pleased it was MRJ taking that shot in the last 2 minutes instead of George ). Jack had a shocker, and is having a few too many of those type of games the last couple of years (still no worse than Hawkins today). Dusty is still only half-power,
Ross was very good. Baker - oh my lord, the boy is a champ. He should stay as a permanent mid. And someone should tell Pickett to trust his boot - he can roost the ball 50 metres, and he's a bloody good kick. He could have kicked 2-3 in that 3rd quarter. Nank played a 'last quarter Nank special' - but unfortunately Soldo's ruckwork wasn't good enough.
I actually think we lost it from our mistakes - we had 4 dropped marks - 3 in the first half and Jack's in the last (when we were out and moving). Add those two missed goals from Bolton and Lynch - I know the Cats had more scoring shots, but overall we kicked worse for goal.
I'm not going to complain about umpiring - that free that took away Jack's specky was no worse than the soft one Grimes got about 5 minutes earlier.
But I do think that last ball up call for the Dusty tackle would have been holding the ball any other time that wasn't in the last minute, 10 metres out from goal.
Better go to Specsavershe was involved in 5/24 of their scores which is over 20%. Do your maths before you start calling people names. It's irrelevant what has happened in other games as Hawkins still held his own today.
