Hawkins got 5 score involvements. lol
Hawkins was absolutely smashed by Tarrant and he was probably our best defender on the day

Just cop the loss mate
You made a bad call, we all do sometimes but no point making a fool of yourself and trying to double down

Why wasn’t the game stopped when Prestia got whacked! It was play on for a full 3 or 4 minutes. Absolute Barry Crocker s**t! Corruption. Crock! I’m mad!
That got me steamed up like a nuclear plant, what a disgrace by the umpires.

He’s averaged 8 score involvements and 2.6 goals a game this season you imbecile
he was involved in 5/24 of their scores which is over 20%. Do your maths before you start calling people names. It's irrelevant what has happened in other games as Hawkins still held his own today.

Great effort to get back from 35pts down, but concerning that we were 35pts down. Prestia going down had a part to play, but not 35pts.
It took switching Baker into the middle yet again to get the ball going our way after being something like 10-1 down in CC, which spawns the question why wasn't he there from the beginning, and why do we persist with Graham there, he is far too slow with his disposal in that situation.
Ultimately Geelong deserved the win by taking the game on and carving us up through the middle in the last 20mins while we lost all composure and turned to shit.
Still proud of the boys effort though after being 35pts down.

Hawkins was involved in 20% of their scores.
If this is all you have it’s not the win you think it is, he was forced to play up the ground and try and get a match up on smaller players to get involved because whenever he went inside 50 Taz wore him like a glove

Love this club but done with this sport.

Work mate and fellow tiger said it best, "I'm exhausted and angry even when we win". I've watched 2 or 3 games of ours this season. Maybe 30mins of other games in total just when I'm channel surfing on a Friday or Saturday night. It's not fun to watch, the game is a mess and this isn't hyperbole but I didn't realise how uptight I got during the season when I'm pretty relaxed during the off season. I forced myself to watch tonight and now I wish I didn't because now I'm pissed off. Not so much that we lost because I got great pleasure from watching Ross have a break out match and the team lift against adversity. I'm pissed because it doesn't feel like an even contest, that you're constantly cringing because you don't know if the next contest is just going to be another free kick.

Heartrate still near maximum. Awesome, awesome game.

A few concerning things - I'm not sure we can carry both MRJ and Clarke in the same forward line - while they both run hard, they are both still soft as butter, don't stick the hard tackles and too easily pushed around (having said that, I was extremely pleased it was MRJ taking that shot in the last 2 minutes instead of George :p ). Jack had a shocker, and is having a few too many of those type of games the last couple of years (still no worse than Hawkins today:cool:). Dusty is still only half-power,

Ross was very good. Baker - oh my lord, the boy is a champ. He should stay as a permanent mid. And someone should tell Pickett to trust his boot - he can roost the ball 50 metres, and he's a bloody good kick. He could have kicked 2-3 in that 3rd quarter. Nank played a 'last quarter Nank special' - but unfortunately Soldo's ruckwork wasn't good enough.

I actually think we lost it from our mistakes - we had 4 dropped marks - 3 in the first half and Jack's in the last (when we were out and moving). Add those two missed goals from Bolton and Lynch - I know the Cats had more scoring shots, but overall we kicked worse for goal.

I'm not going to complain about umpiring - that free that took away Jack's specky was no worse than the soft one Grimes got about 5 minutes earlier.
But I do think that last ball up call for the Dusty tackle would have been holding the ball any other time that wasn't in the last minute, 10 metres out from goal.
Best game of footy of the year, and yes, we did get the rub of the green.
