We are capable of winning our last 8 games which would give us 16 wins. 64 points us usually enough to finish top 4.

Nothing on the afl injury list

The CFL had the 4 week suspension ceiling locked in before the tribunal hearing began, more shenanigans.& this is what is shitting me most about Dion being taken out unfairly and all of the positive press about Tom Stewart and what will Geelong do to cover him...
Tigers coming up against West Coast this week - although they have been ordinary this year the last couple of weeks they have looked better - have pretty much their preferred midfield available and Nic Nat comes back in as well - and they are talking about playing with pride and wanting to shape the 8
Watch them click this week and play their best footy
We have Cotch injured still, Edwards no longer effective to jump in,and Dusty not at his best (a topic for another thread) so desperately needed Dion in to do his stuff battling Nic Nat feeding West Coasts mid's with first use all day.
******* Tom Stewart not only stuffed our chances to get over the line last week but certainly makes this week so much harder for us.
Even bloody George is being spruiked on the AFL site this morning as the likely replacement for Dion!!!!
But Stewart is remorseful and a really good bloke - just give us the 4 points from last week by way of compensation ya pricks and it wont hurt as much.
Nup - sucked in Richmond, let's continue to talks 10% about how this has affected us and 90% about how it affects Stewart and Geelong.
I havn't melted and fumed this much for a long time.....
Your "mate" Gerard was last night saying how after this ruling the AFL will ramp up interpretations further - so fully expecting Picket to deliver a bump in the coming weeks and AFL saying after 'recent events' needing to up the charge accordingly. The CFL had the 4 week suspension ceiling locked in before the tribunal hearing began, more shenanigans.
Watch when a Tiger does the same thing, will be 6 weeks minimum.
Anyway, trying to get over it,how can you when a king hit cost us a top 4 spot?

I'm still angry and feel more and more like the AFL is completely corrupt.
Welcome to the CFL.Your "mate" Gerard was last night saying how after this ruling the AFL will ramp up interpretations further - so fully expecting Picket to deliver a bump in the coming weeks and AFL saying after 'recent events' needing to up the charge accordingly.
So once again sucked in Richmond....
I agree the AFL are corrupt but I disagree that nothing will change. They are corrupt but nothing will change mate
I agree the AFL are corrupt but I disagree that nothing will change.
If we do nothing, nothing will change.
If we stand up and make noise then we can instigate the change but it's a hard and long road and a lot of people prefer the easier path of doing nothing and just complaining.
I have no fecking idea...just get images of PJ's, showers and breakfast! Not sure how ‘woke culture’ has somehow factored into umpiring decisions
I often get the vibe that people who use ‘woke’ don’t even remotely understand what it’s supposed to mean
BUT he did choose to bump, he did choose to run past the ball, he did choose to use excessive physical pressure on Dion.
The result being Dion knocked out and in a world of hurt.
So “why” he did it is irrelevant. If he is a s**t campaigner or the pope is irrelevant.
It’s a dog act end of. What he chose to do is a dog act on the footy field and more importantly could have very sad mental repercussions down the track for Dion.
They are corrupt but nothing will change mate
Not what I took from that, particularly on Lambert. Burge said it's a week to week thing with Lambert so there's no guarantee he'll play whichever week it is.Sounds like Lambert will be right to play this week with Prestia the week after V GC. Cotchin and Balta V North.
With the AFL rules there is no way that Prestia can play this week after being concussedNot what I took from that, particularly on Lambert. Burge said it's a week to week thing with Lambert so there's no guarantee he'll play whichever week it is.
If it's not this week I'm hoping it's the GC game when Prestia comes back.
It's always a week to week thing but given he did the main session last week and didn't play you'd think he's more likely this week. Not what I took from that, particularly on Lambert. Burge said it's a week to week thing with Lambert so there's no guarantee he'll play whichever week it is.

Oh I'm sure the AFL could come up with a little unknown technicality to allow him to play...With the AFL rules there is no way that Prestia can play this week after being concussed
