Probably Maurice's best game so far.
Adding defensive features to his game, like the chase down.
Balta in defence, near the end, helped to save the day.
He’s always had the defensive features just with the role he was expected to play it negated his natural offensive instinct , clearly he’s been encouraged to be a fire starter and really get going

just buy an au falcon so easy to work on yourself

but no people want fancy shitbox like bmw lmao
Mate brought a Beema.Biggest piece of shit he's ever owned.
Deserved it though.Brought it from interstate online without even a test drive.

A grade talent we have ...
Shai
Taranto
Lynch when his body is right
Vlastuin
Dan Rioli
and Dusty when his body is right

..probably Gibcus when he gets a decent run at it

Actually what we lack is a superstar at the peak of his powers that will win us games we have no right being in but that could be Shai by this time next year

Shai, Floss and Dan are excellent players. I'd add Baker to that list. Love 'em to bits. Even though the competition wouldn't rank Floss and Dan as A-graders, I think they are undervalued by people who don't watch Richmond every week.

For the others, it's not difficult to name better players in 2024 in a similar role (e.g. Tim Taranto vs Tom Green, Tom Lynch vs Harry McKay, Dusty vs Toby Greene). Unfortunately durability is part of the equation. We're not winning a flag in 2024, so it gets even worse as the years roll on.

It's way too early to make a call on Gibcus. Remember when Darcy Fogarty was the next big thing?

I’ve seen him a few times, pretty sure he lives in the area.

To add a bit more info, it’s the first time I’ve seen him in his car to get coffee and not just walking.
Adem won't like that.
Adem Bandt that is.

MRJ is just scratching at the surface of what he could become. Very pleased Yze isn't listening to the doubters and giving him a good run. Lots of criticism about his fitness but his Dad was the same shape and he could turn on a dime and hit targets at will. A lot of people forget Maurice senior had already played about 100 senior games before he arrived at Richmond in his mid 20s. Junior is still a pup and his upside is enormous. I hope he's given a fairer run in this forum now that his potential is clear for all to see.

Last year Champion Data ranked three Richmond players elite, including Nick Vlastuin

Richmond

Dustin Martin (general forward)
Nick Vlastuin (general defender)
Shai Bolton (mid-forward)

Taranto and Hopper just missed the cut it was reportedly

And the year before we had 4 players ... Marlion has had a tough 12 months but was a weapon before Dimna convinced him to not be as hard at it ... to rein in the FA ... hopefully Yze has unleashed him for the rest season with the focus on pressure work last week.

Tom Lynch (key forward), Marlion Pickett (wing), Jayden Short (general defender), Nick Vlastuin (general defender

So Floss is not only A grade he is elite
