Thought you looked really good today, and we won’t be the last team you spring a surprise on at the MCG. Harder at it than us all day and fully deserved the win - the margin flattered us if anything.

Hope Lynch is ok. Was really enjoying seeing him back and playing good footy.

Good game and hope you can build on it going forward.

I think our defence built on miller, young, banks could be great. Balta the swingman. We need to lock it down and let them develop together.
And Brown, Tresize and Kaleb Smith looking good at VFL level

The list is in pretty good shape ... we won that game with Broad, Baker, Lynch all on the bench ... and Grimes, Dusty, Hopper and Prestia out of the team.

Miller, Mansell, Rioli J all have copped a fair pasting on here but it was these players with about 30 games under their belt that really stood up to get this win.

Banks Brown Lefau Dow and Sonsie all played a part too.

Samson or Naismith in to replace Lynch?

Saints West Coast Bye. Could we be 3-3 going into the Demons clash?

I’ll be honest and say that I’m usually a critic of Taranto, but he was pretty good today. It’s not even the 35 disposals he got, but he did a lot with the ball. Off the ball, he laid 6 tackles and put a lot of pressure on the ball carrier.

We need more games like this from him.
Used it well today. This needs to become his base skill level.

12 mins to go…tigers 3 points up

Shai busts his arse to run from HB to forward half

Marks the ball

Kicks a clutch goal from the boundary

Love Shai…is probably our best player
Comfortably our best player when he is switched on.

We ****en won???

How good was vlas, Taranto and lynch (sucks balls he’s injured again though)

Loving Tom Browne and Seth Campbell, Maurice Rioli made a couple of shocking errors but played his best game for us imo, Thomson Dow was also very good.

Rioli back to his running best and all around our pressure was sublime.

Obviously our foot skills let us down but the more we get it into the hands of brown sonsie the better we will be

Oi back to the swans board ya flo…

Oh hi Zevon!

Yeeehaaaa!

Loved the gut running, pressure and sheer determination and 4 quarter effort.

Rioli's and Vlastuin saved the game multiple times.

Vlastuin is just a human wall, they couldn't get past him.

Tom Brown, Sonz, Campbell and Lefau all great efforts and keep their spots.

Dusty for Lynch is the only change

Taranto 35 and 1 wow
we must allow tim freedom to run both ways and get his 35 touches (some hacks) and a goal every week
he's not one of those 25 touch show ponies
as Tommy would say too much finessing, you're a back pocket plumber just kick the bloody thing.

Banks or Brown? Happy with both. Balta is staying forward. He had an almost day today - a bit like Shai v Blues. With Lynch's injury he will be required up there. Thought he competed very well in the air and on the ground and his relief ruck work was solid. Probably a chance for Kosi or Samson to come in for a few weeks if Lynch is injured.
