Mcauliffe is really starting to build pressure on all the mids at the moment. I would debut him next week just so his Family doesnt have to travel far, though that could build the pressure on the young lad.

Surprised we could sustain the pressure for most of the game as I honestly thought the Swans talent and endurance would run our kids off their legs.

Great effort and a win that showed a few kids might make it.

I won’t be surprised if we’re inconsistent and at times putrid this year. But play the kids, show some patience, and work towards finals.

The Mrs ain't happy. Bad luck, I'm happy. Yellow and Black !!

There was a stage in the third quarter (I think when we were coming back) where our pressure factor reached 223. That's an elite level of pressure. A huge difference compared to our ~150 pressure factor against Port Adelaide and our average of ~165 for the year.

Shows how important pressure, work rate, and stuck tackles are to our team dynamics because not much has changed from our previous games otherwise. We still turned the ball over and gave away silly free kicks. But, our mistakes don't hurt as much when we bring the effort throughout the match like we did today. Look forward to playing against St Kilda. Their defence is a hard one to break like Sydney's, so let's see if we can bring the heat to them too

Great to get a win. Vlaustin's game was one of our best individual defensive games of the last few years. Taranto was great but I didn't think he garnered 35 possessions today, still he led that midfield brigade admirably against one of the most respected midfields.
Makes you wonder what would have happened if we had a more even umpiring run in the last few years. Absolutely gutsy win and great to see some of the younger players experience one of these wins. I've still got concerns on MRJ and a couple of others and I cannot grasp how McIntosh is still being selected despite numerous turnovers. Both Lynch and Balta played injured, cannot afford for any Key Position players to go down.

Wonderful to win both the VFL and Seniors today against a respected foe.

Kids stood up when it mattered. Campbell is going to be something special. How good is it having Lynch back and close to his best. Hope he’s fine. Floss was unbelievable. Maurice’s pressure was remarkable.
That game could be the making of mrj.

What a win , said all week it was a danger game , got a vibe early these guys werent in same league as our last two opponents and we were up for the fight , well done lads , bit off more than we could chew at times but stuck to ooze aggressive corridor play . Funny how most inexperienced midfield pack we’ve played in recent times and and our contested and clearance is as strong as it’s ever been , keeping us right in the contest . Great work by our defence , miller , rioli ,TT and junior ,,made a few fk ups but did a lot right too , great stuff young fella
