Campbell not handballing back to Rioli was a massive disaster late in the forth. Sonsie trying to handball to Martin at the same time was also awful.

This is what happens when you're rebuilding. Embrace the change. The worst position you can be is the position teams like the Saints are in. Can beat up bottom sides, but have no chance at the big dance.

God there is some absolutely embarrassing shit being posted.

We had the great same intent as last week, except without 3 of our best players and on a bullshit non-AFL standard ground that made the entire game a cluster ****. Some of you reeling off our kids as if they were the issue are a disgrace. At least they had their hands on the ball with the game on the line.

Our system stood up and got pipped because we’re not mature enough yet. 11 players under 50 games. Great effort.

honestly just gotta keep playing youth at this point, they're not gonna perform that much worse than what some of the senior players have coughed up. naismith the only oldie i'd like to see come in because he's earnt his call up and he's the best fit. no clue why he didn't come in this week

i'd love to see coulthard come in, he's a gun. don't think i'd drop any of campbell/mansell/mrj though. maybe move campbell to the wing and drop a pickett or kmac

big no to grimes when he's fit which is probably this week

wouldn't happen in a million years but kaleb smith in for short, just to give him a kick up the ass and reward smith who has looked good in the vfl off half back

Would’ve won if Yze started McAuliffe. He’s earned his spot more than any other player on the ******* team and you make him sub on his debut, sack him already stupid campaigner!
That is a seriously stupid comment. Yze is going to be a long-term coach, and one selection decision isn't going to change that.

Considering our injury list, I thought we did OK today. St Kilda's a decent side with a strong defence, so losing by only 7 points after the injuries we had is a positive thing. There is a point where injuries just become too much to overcome. We're at that point.

Ross, Daniel Rioli, and Nankervis did well. Bolton, Martin, and our entire defence were outstanding. MRJ had his moments.

On the lowlights, I was very disappointed with Sonsie and Kosi today tbh. Absolutely no surprise that Kosi played like this though. We should've played Naismith or even Ryan ahead of him because this is what he was showing in the VFL.

Graham added nothing to our side today. He probably should've worked his way into our side through the VFL.

McIntosh and Pickett were average. Pickett was better than McIntosh though.

Hopefully McAuliffe is alright :( He was just warming up into the game before that happened.
Agree with most of this but I thought Kosi showed signs that his form is improving and we should see him able to hold those marks in coming weeks, remember even Richo took 6 weeks into a season before his marking form was at the level

Very nearly got the win without Baker, Balta, Lynch and Hopper as well.
We got one goal from a tall
Sonsie just a little to cute at times and Campbell made some stuff ups and went into his shell a bit but two GA is good.
Mcauliff 4 poss in about 7min hope he’s not out for long.

Brown very good
Mcauliff very good
Sonsie good
Campbell good (needs wide flanks)

If we had Balta and Baker we win that game

Faaark you Tigers ... bloody ruined my weekend ...

Tyler Young gets special mention with Jack Graham for an insiped performance

Out: Young, Graham
In: Grimes, Naismith
lol why would Young be out?
He played well

Ruined your weekend? Did you really expect us to win with half our side missing?

We were 20 points dog with the bookies

Part of the double edged sword of playing the kids
They have some big moments but sometimes aren’t quite ready to rise to the occasion

Sonsie had a terrible 5 mins patch that could of changed the entire outcome
Wouldn’t drop him over it but he needs to be better

Pickett and Macca had 1 touch the entire last quarter. Pickett has been living off a GF blind turn and a late goal against GWS for 30 games. Macca has been living off I don’t know what for 45.

Macca hasn’t had a single coaches vote for 44 games. Pickett for 33. They are cooked .. f*rk them off !

Time to throw caution to the wind and give two rucks a spin. Nank and Naismith could do a real number on the eagles ruck I reckon. We also need some big targets to combat McGovern who is absolutely cooking this year, I’d be super worried if we only had Lefau and Kosi taking him on, having one of Naismith or Nank down there at all times would at least keep him
Honest.

Provided he’s ok, McAuliffe to be given a full game.

Brown to be given kick in duties, perhaps look at playing Short off a wing and drop one of KMac/Pickett.

Baker in for Graham, who can be sub.
Drop Kmac or Pickett?
Who are you? This is the RFC, those guys are unfortunately the first two picked....

The thing is, Sonsie has played at AFL level before.

His efforts in that last quarter were inecusable. They were basic errors that not even a 'kid' should be making.

That effort where he went to ground instead of keeping his feet was bad and is one of the first things you get taught. Always keep your feet.

Started the way we finished last week. Full of run and great pressure. It looked like last week caught up at half time though today where the pressure rating looked to be at around 140 in the third quarter. Just couldn't keep it up.

Dusty Shae Taranto Nank Morris all superb.

Tom Brown is exquisite. Lefao growing every week.

Anyone who complains about the umpiring needs to STFU. I'll take that umpiring every week. Lynch wins the Coleman on what I saw today

Yeah. Went Nank, Bolton, Brown and the Rioli's.

Maurice didn't get a huge number today but his pressure was immense and hit the scoreboard. Daniel was clean and tried to take the game on. Was our cleanest defender.
how was maurice immense. bolton was immense. my daughter could have kicked riolis goals

We win that with even a semi-full strength side.
A narrow loss all part of the grand plan.
* I hope Mcauliffe is ok. He looked like he belonged even in the short space of time was saw him.
Only just heard he got injured, this is ****ed, I’m expecting an ankle amputation is imminent

Its a stupid comment sure but the members deserve an explanation as to why Graham comes back in underdone and plays in front of Kane. It was a stupid decision that makes no sense.
