conserving energy?
We’ve been doing it a couple of times this year (Essendon, Fremantle, GWS X2, Collingwood X2) so it adds up in terms of percentage.

We are playing West Coast and Brisbane, so I guess we’ll have an input in our direct competitors’ percentages and wins
 
Good win.

- The efforts of Rioli, Short and Ellis should have them on notice. Their attack on the ball and man wasn't what it needs to be when you have guys like Caddy and McIntosh waiting in the wings.
- Soldo competed against Grundy and did a far better job than Nank has done in the past. It shouldn't be a given that Nank walks back into the team, Soldo is more than holding his own.
- Chol and Stack look like they could do with a rest, playing well in spurts but also been more fumbly than in previous games.
- Jack Graham is the type of guy you want in your team come finals time. Attack on the footy and man is exemplary.
