Just happy for the win. The scoreboard flattered the bombers. We should of won by 30 plus.
Out: Prestia. His knee is clearly ****** right now. If it's not right, deal with it and get him right.
In: Miles.

Miles? Did you watch last week?

Was he limping? I didnt see, if anything I thought he was moving better than he has the past few games he's played

He can't kick and looks to handball in most cases. Something isn't right with him.

Nearly lost my mind over this
Worst Desicion of all time, seriously thank God the bombers aren't as good as gws and wb as they would of made us pay even more for the stupid umpires, I'm sick of these maggots ruining the game. I know it's our own fault losing the last 3 but if we got a good umpire we would of won at least one of them and be 7 and 3

Miles went ok in the ressies today and we are playing norf next weekend. Give Prestia next week and the bye off to get right. Next three games are massively winnable. We need at least two of the next three.

imagine how good we will look with schache next to jack instead of elton.

To be completely fair, Schache isn't really playing good footy either at the moment.

Not saying this isn't a good call, but just saying that perhaps our expectations on a potential Schache trade should be tempered slightly.

He's not going to come in and dominate... but the difference between him and Elton is that he has shown a TON more potential to be better in the future, whereas Elton is 23/24 and hasn't done anything in 6-7 years on a list.

Prestia is working his way into form, taking him in and out of the team isn't going to help. His kicking is all a mental battle, he will come good, he offers more than Miles, even if his kicking is shit.

Just back from game.

Cotchin was huge in the second half, Dusty was good but far from best on.
Rance enough said, smacks Hooker and then completes the job on pimples.

Hooker still out on the ground looking for his car keys

Time to try something different, The Elton experiment is costing us way too much and not going to work

Chol , Needs to be given a run and get some games into him - No chance he could do any worse than elton
Garthwaite - Another option, The kid will try and will not give up again atleast we get games into him without missing out on much compared to Elton
Moore - Where is this kid at , Some weeks we hear really good things but then nothing, He was injured last week is it serious ?
Garthwaite played a bottler in the VFL today. I've wanted him in for a month after the realisation of Elton being a flop now for seven seasons. May as well blood the kids rather than going in with the same cocktail.

id back him in for 30 goals playing next to jack and having rioli/bolton/butler at his feet. with dusty/cotch delivering it on to his tit

Pretty solid game I thought all in all.

Structurally I thought we were very good at shutting down essendons game through the corridor, so props to Dimma there. Around the stoppages we got sucked in to the contest but weren't winning them which gave them a lot of space on the outside but otherwise very good. Take out that first 5 minutes and our terrible kicking for goal and we comfortably controlled the game i thought.

Dusty, Cotch, Rance, Houli, Grigg all very good and at their usual standard.

Brandon Ellis...take a bow. That's what we've all been waiting to see for two seasons, bog for mine.

I would rather both Prestia and Caddy are both in the team.

Prestia's kicking isn't always great at times, however it's the flow on effect that him being in provides for guys such as Cotchin and Martin.

Prestia is good enough that a team can't let him get loose, so have to pay attention to him regardless of his individual performances and his kicking, whereas Miles is much more limited in the damage he does, and teams will risk staying off him and putting more time into Cotchin/Martin and the like.

Ditto for Caddy.

Having those two guys in makes a much bigger difference to our team than their individual performances, due to this flow on effect it has on our other midfielders and their ability to get loose.

Couldnt possibly do any worse than Elto who provides nothing and just isn't mobile, His 2nd efforts are just nothing and even seen Daniel Rioli telling him where to stand and where to go on 3-4 different occasions tonight.

He hasn't even kicked 30 goals in his entire career yet, I think that's a premature call tbh.

I think after several years of development, he could be a 50 goal a year player potentially... but the key words there are "after several years"

If he kicks 30 goals next year (whether for us OR whoever he goes to), I'll eat my hat!
