We were lucky tonight.the amount of time in our fwd 50 and win only by 15.Against most other sides that would hurt us.

11 for the bombers ( the umpire) did his 100% in the last quarter to get his team across the line, lets all take a moment and just empathize with his disappointment at the loss. I have to admire our game day coaching to he honest, we changed our ball movement from our transition to attack and it allowed us to slice essendon open and generate a staggering amount of inside 50's.

Our ability to spray the ball and miss get able goals, is a bloody disgrace and is the only thing that kept the bombers in it. If we had of kicked just to AFL standard we would have been a good 5 goals up all game and it would have been a pleasure to watch, instead they nearly made me drop dead again from a hart attack lol.

Good to see Jobe without his special sauce transform himself into a spud, that will keep me happy for a good week.

Rance Astbury and Grimes won is that. They were all over us through the middle and should've easily kicked a winning score but those 3 killed their attacks nearly every time. Hooker fantasia and danniher after half time had no impact

I think we should stick with Bolton, he showed something that I think we could work with.
Wasn't the best performing match, but I'd rather win playing averagely than losing while playing great as the last three games showed us.

I wrote off Astbury for a long time but he is becoming a great individual player.

Thought Lambert was great tonight, and I'm not a great fan. Menadue also will gain a lot of confidence, could be a player one day. MacIntosh was superb when put on Fantasia, took him out of the game completely. (Good coaching move, who would have believed it). We tried as hard as we could to lose. I reckon there was a line in the sand drawn after last weeks game. We played with heat.
