Think we will play as full strength team as we possibly can this week... having 2-3 weeks off afl footy is far too long...
Unless someone has a more than decent niggle/corky.
Prestia, cotchin, Astbury all back in
Garthwaite, Baker and probably Lloyd the super unlucky one to be dropped..
Lloyd is def number 1 back in if needed.. hasn’t done anything wrong in when had his chance.. so composed with the ball and has really got himself fitter and tackling has improved out of sight.. possibly takes Higgins spot if higgo has a bad game vs dogs or first final
Butler is the interesting one.. he’s still a week or 2 away I believe.. they may try give him a half at vfl level this week or the next.. just don’t know who he replaces.. possibly Higgins or Castagna but Castagna adds way more in the air than butler does...

Dimma seems to really love conca though...
We seem to have 7 defenders that fits into 6... I can’t see any of them losing their spot though..
Bellis has been super since his spell in the VFL... houli is clearly showing his class and importance... broad doesn’t get much ball but he’s a much underrated defender..
short, Astbury, Grimes, rance obviously all locks!!
McIntosh has been equally impressive since his return from VFL too...
But has to be one of McIntosh, Higgins or conca?
Whoever it is, they will be super unlucky..
very interested to see how much dimma loves butler... get the feeling he just won’t have enough match practice to come back in for a final

Thas why i bet we will go full blown 100% against the Dogs, it wil be the last full on hitout then a rest. Perfect prep for defending our title.

The draw this year has not done us any favours with Gold Coast,Essendon & Bulldogs as our last 3 games
Have not had a good hard hitout then bang into a finals game against Sydney or Hawks - Not Good
Lambert & Butler is worrying i hope both boys are fit enough for the 1st final both are extremely important to our run and speed

I think I'm developing a severe man crush on Caddy, so bloody happy we got him from the handbaggers.
Come on...last two games against both the cats/bumbers have been tough assignments...
Bring back a few injured players for a solid hit out against the doggies..

The only other issue, apart from injuries, which could cripple us is umpiring.
Opposition teams would be pleased Hardwick is upset.
Public comments can inflame the issue.
Clarkson hardly ever criticised umpires in the Hawthorn dynasty era and they received favourable decisions.

I know what you're saying about Caddy, but Greene although supremely talented, just seems to be an absolute cocksmack. Kind of glad he's not ours to be honest.
Had freo and saints last two games last year and it turned out ok

biaseddustyfan My contact at the Suns wasn't a fan of Caddy while he was with them, thinks he was immature and very cocky, looked to be a similar story at the Cats too early days when he was playing up with Billie Smedts and co., but he seems to matured into a bloody good footballer with just the right amount of campaigner about him too and I'm very happy he's ours now.
