It will be the first time in 2 years we will be out of the 8. Ran out of petrol. But lycett poor need to play Hayes run lycett between ruck and foward. But give Hayes a go ken please

Yes and no I was proud of our effort. Those that put in busted their guts. 10-2 free kick count in the last I wonder whose way... mmmm let me think.

In a strange way more +'s than -'s but I'd need time to explain that. Too emotional atm. That's code for way too angry to be rational.

mitch should get 3-5 games for head high contact. but obviously the afl are only concerned with protecting certain peoples heads. they are opening themselves up to a flood of litigation for their clearly biased, rigged observation. you hit someone in the head then you are legally responsible. cant wait for the multi million dollar compos from their own ignorance, bias and corruption. noticed nick darcy was suspicously very quiet tonight

Hinkley has many annoying traits as a coach, but i'd say at the top of that list is his pig headed insistence to "stick fat" with his underperformers. Lycett used to be a warrior, but now he's just some big bumbling oaf taking up a spot.

It was a hard loss to swallow but I have a lot to look forward to this year. We are definately a better side than last year. And Mitch Robinson better get weeks. Duursma had his head over the ball, he chose to bump, the player was injured. The bump was illegal and awared a free kick. Just becaue it was a collar bone shouldn't negate the fact that he had a duty of care for a person who had his head over the ball. No less than 2 weeks and up to 3.

how many games for mr mr sniping duursma?. the afl fail to protect players heads. its a legal nightmare. big big big payouts to players who get consistently head hunted by snipers. but fail to get any protection from afl victorian cheat umpires.
He went for the bump , got him high and he's broken his collarbone. He should get a month. That's literally what the AFL has drawn up as what NOT to do... Just because he escape a head knock means nothing

Just got home from the game.

For once it didn’t feel like the usual multiple run of goals by Lions. Actually impressed we pushed until the end.

3-4 goals from clear unforced errors on our part really hurt.

Ran out of gas, but I can say that it was extremely humid….didn’t look slippery but the heat and weight of moisture in the air was telling in the stands, so imagine in the contest was not pleasant.

Not happy at all but feel more disappointed in being close and missing out than the usual 40 point plus margin

Injuries had not much part in that. We didn't appear to be suffering fitness issues from lack of rotations, etc.

We just shat the bed.
