I feel so calm every time Chol lines up for a shot on goal. The bloke has such a simple, effortless kicking action and he rarely misses. What a pickup!

For those that watched live at the ground go and watch the replay of Day backing away from Dusty at the centre bounce. It was Pendlebury like. It was like the changing of the guard from champion of old to the new breed. Day is going to be one of the best in the comp and proof you don’t need to rely on top 5 picks.

A Hodge/Bont like moment from the 2016 semi-final? That was one of the most obvious, singular torch passing moments I've ever seen.

Funnily enough earlier that year it happened between the same two sides when Sicily out marked Bob Murphy who tore his ACL in the process.

That Port game, had we won then we'd be in 6th position.

All three are so good at intercepting, when we are set up behind the ball they are able to dominate.

Sicily and Scrimmers are two of the best intercept defenders going.

We always, always look a better team when those two are controlling the air across half back.

Weddle gives similar aerial ability but also adds the power running.

It's a powerful combo to be sure.

Really good professional win. Even though we wasted a lot of chances our systems held up, we had Sicily, Day, Chol, Newcome and McKenzie have high quality games in terms of impact and quality disposal - and that was enough for us to finish the game with double their score .

Super impressed with Scrimshaw this year. Love that he has just become a KPD overnight - and a really good one!
