There was always going to be a game when the pressure and skills would falter. It’s a taxing gamestyle for a young team. We were jumped early, and didn’t handle the pressure. Heads dropped.

Those slicing kicks that have been opening teams up were being missed and opening us up on turnover. They kicked 11.9 from our errors.

We move on.

We were completely outclassed - they provided the team with a massive reality check. They were clean, and we were incredibly sloppy.

Defence all at sea without Sicily.
Midfield bullied by an average midfield unit.
Forwards not at all connected.

Moore and Worpel deserve credit for cracking in, however we were ultimately just shown up by a team who were ‘on’ and better.

We needed that. We aren’t a finished product yet and hopefully now the media will shut the **** up.

Geelong played really well and they deserve credit. They never let up and we couldn’t find a way to disrupt them.

Learn from how much pressure good teams put on you. Learn how to deal with it and learn how to emulate it. Then we can make these losses a positive. I think we are capable of doing that.

ps we didn’t lose because of Sicily just please don’t

Absolutelt smashed. Terrible performance, but I suppose we were due one. Shame it had to be against them.
Hard to stay up for two months. Every side has had similar games this year.

Trick will be the regroup as quickly as we can for next week as we are still in the hunt for finals with the Doggies and Suns also losing this weekend.
