Curious about how many contests Darling impacted today given the aerial dominance of Aliir and Ratugolea?

Gaff, Witherden and Edwards most deserving of being dropped. I'd give Darling another week, see how he goes at home.
Don't care who comes in, Chesser obviously starts and a couple of other young blokes.

after watching port run the ball the length of the ground from our attacking zone it’s scary to think what Whitfield, Aish, idden, perryman and Callaghan will do…

We need to get a pacey defensive forward from somewhere… maybe dewar is it

Gaff out, Chesser in naturally.
Gaff to the WAFL, and Dewar as sub. Dont want JJ, ideally if we need a pacey half back, itll be Burgiel or something.

Im happy to persist with Edwards another week, hopefully another game of WAFL into Hall and Burgiel gets them both ready to push for a game, so both could come in to swap out Edwards and a defender-Witho probably

Wasn't JJ quiet in the WAFL game on Saturday? Why rush him back in?

Would like to see Chesser given a full game, Hall the sub and Gaff to work on getting the footy in the WAFL, but I'm not sure we'll see him dropped this early. He was far from horrible during the preseason games.

The sooner we start getting games into Barnett, Hewett, Hall, A Reid/ Jilliams, Burgiel the better. Obviously fitness and injury depending

Giants have a tall forward line, 3 legit KP forwards in Hogan, Riccardi, Cadman plus Brown.

Hough would be good on Brown as he pushes up the ground.

TB, McGovern and we will need Jamieson as well.

Gaff will be totally ineffective against the Orange Sunami so that change is obvious.

Out: Gaff, Brockman to sub

In: Hall and Chesser to the wing.

Brockman remember is coming back from a knee niggle and would impact when the opposition was tiring if he came on fresh. When he's 100% he gets a full game.

Unless an injury pops up Id be making minimal changes other than the obvious.

Out: Gaff, Darling

In: Chesser, Barnett

Sub: Jones

I'd like to see Barnett have a bit of an extended run until Flynn is fit, then back to the WAFL. Though still raw and lean I think he can offer something. Get Bailey to take the CBD then push forward and Barnett takes some of the stoppages around the ground. Williams as a target offers much more than Darling right now.

Out: Witherden Gaff Edwards
In: Jones Chesser Hall

Cole Barrass Hough
Duggan McGovern Hunt
Chesser Kelly Ginbey
Cripps Darling Petruccelle
Long Allen Brockman

Ruck: Williams Yeo Reid
Int: Waterman Hall Jones Jamieson

Darling and Gaff were liabilities

Gaff i didnt notice and is just not AFL quality any longer. Chesser comes in provided he can run out a whole game.

Darling cant jump over a jam tin so unless he's wrestling somebody weaker than him he's useless. Or getting joe the goose goals.
Would bring in Barnett for him and play Bailey in Darling's spot, Barnett to main ruck. Jamo looked a bit out of sorts as ruck so keep him in defence if they have a tall fwd line. Gov can play loose.

Tyler Brockman will come good, give him one more game minimum. He has a tonne of class, very impressive at the Hawks.

Surely, SURELY, Gaff doesnt play next week.

Pulling him at half time with a career low of 4 touches to his name smacks of a coach pissed at his performance.

If Gaffy is named on-ground against GWS we will truly have learned nothing.

Chesser in for Gaff as long as hes not stuck on the Wing. If Chesser comes in to rot on the wing leave him in the WAFL to be delisted when his contract is over. Find somebody to sit on a wing and be the endurance monkey.
Put Edwards and Ginbey with rotations from whoever just not Chesser
