Nash will continue to fly under the radar but he was massive today.

He just continues to bully small midfields and I don't think it's a coincidence how we've dismantled Freo, the Pies and the Crows who just lack someone who can match his size.

His kicking was excellent today

That was wild haven’t been to an Adelaide game in Adelaide for about 12 years. Forgot they were the worst supporters in the league. Threatened, abused, stood over…was with both my kids on my own too. The whinging my god the whinging…just relentless. They are the worst supporters in the league by a mile. Thank fk we smashed them, we were unbelievable. So proud to be a Hawk supporter…absolutely awesome.

Flicked the switch after quarter time and did not stop. I was worried about our height in the first quarter we used that to our advantage for the rest of the game.

Becoming such a impressive side when we get it on our terms. Ran them into the ground and out huntered them all over the ground.

Great game from Impey,Day,C-Mac. Solid team effort with 8 multiple goal kickers

Go the Hawks the journey to September continues with 4 games left.

Remarkable turnaround from 0-5 we are 9th (equal 8th) and 1 game seperates us from 4th.

Noice win. Nice to be 9th. Percentage outside the eight again. We win against GWS next week and likely inside the eight for the first time this season. Nice to have Sic get two goals for his 150th, didn’t have too much impact in the backline but played okay. Wizard is on a roll, playing amazing footy. Ginni not as influential as last week but still good with a couple goals, and Newc having a bit more of a downlow game, but still making an impact; hope the haircuts haven’t impacted their playing. Breust and Moore nice up forward, Calsher with some nice marks and good pressure, Chol playing some of his best footy. CMac getting goals and 14 score involvements, Impey with the Siu again, playing great as always, Frosty and Weddle going great, Amon and Nash having great games. Second half of the first qtr wasn’t great but other than that played great contested footy, took our opportunities and just outplayed the Crows all over, keeping them to only 3 goals after the first. Preferably need to win 3 of the next 4, looking like a great chance for September at the moment. Next up, GWS at Marvel, probably the hardest game in our run home. Should be a good one, can’t wait. So proud of the boys today, seemed like it was gonna be a back and forth close one, but once we really started playing great footy we didn’t stop, and there was no chance for the crows to catch us. Can’t wait to see what else we can do this year. Sam would have to be in contention for coach of the year, after bringing us back from the brink. Go the Hawks!

Um really hope you aren’t going to marvel to watch us play GWS as the game is at Manuka (Canberra)

The Crows were disgraceful late. I'm glad we didn't get an injury. The stomach punch to Moore, the smashing of Watson's head into the turf while he is on the bottom of the pack, the very dangerous late tackle on Jiath. Why no scrutiny from the broadcast team on that period of play from them? Seriously not cool. Actually was symbolic of their play all day, the kick into Sicily's back, the knee into Day's head while he's on the ground, and dirty tactics early try to be 'physical' because they knew they weren't going to be able to go with us, it was clear as day. All over looked, and rather the narrative from the commentary team was actually that we got a free cheapies, despite dominating the inside 50s but getting less frees....

Could see it coming from Michalanney for about 20 minutes in the lead up - lots of little swinging arm cheap shots and then finally completely snapped. What I like about it is that the Hawk smalls are clearly winding them up and love when it works. Watson in particular seems to find it hilarious that people are so goaded by a midget... he's a complete animal.

Anyone who cares - what Finn offers (or CJ for that matter) - that isn't immediately obvious...

In the last quarter there's a piece of play on the far wing - think it was a Finn handball to a team-mate, who then short kicked to Chol for a mark. Finn initially presents an option short on the boundary, then runs to provide a handball option, then sideways chip option, before running a hard curve across the field, drawing multiple different Crows out of position as they start to chase, then give up.

Chol eventually switches to CHB, and as the camera pulls back - 100m away from where he started - there's Finn on the near wing, making space. Instead of completing the switch, the Hawthorn player spots Worpel in the centre square - with perhaps as much space as I've ever seen.

Worpel's man was 40m off him trying to cover Finn. Finn's original opponent was also 20m away (after Finn had already burned him off, forcing Worpel's to try and cover), so Worpel had time to take possession, look around and then stroll towards forwrd 50m.

Think it was the last quarter and Ginny was non stop calling for MacDonald to get right in centre of the midfield, took atleast 5 calls, comes in gets the clearance and we’re off.

When MacDonald has an understanding of the midfield the competition will need to watch out, and Ginny’s footy iq is unheralded, can’t believe Collingwood didn’t see what they had.
