Happy with this game. Swans play bad when they get overconfident. This is a good reality check for some players, while there were some positives to take away - we didn’t do a Carlton and panic, we stemmed the tide.

All focus and pressure will be on Melbourne now. They are premiers, they finished second in home and away, they are playing at home, no one will expect anything from us. Perfect time for swans to strike.

Put this at the end of the game day thread. I’m very happy with this outcome. If we thrashed st Kilda we were have been soft for the game with Melbourne (I know my Swannies too well). This was the perfect swans heading into finals game.

Longmire and the coaches will give a few of them some constructive feedback on where they went wrong, and we will come out firing and sharp against the dees. Huge game at the G, bring it on!!
