People had been carrying on like Saints had nothing to play for. Very shallow analysis.

Havent read anyone else's comments but really wanted to give a shout out to stephens and hayward - both of whom were (other than one dodgy hayward centring kick in the last) super reliable from my vantage point across all four quarters.

Yeah bang average or whatever I said was probably harsh. I just thought he could've done a lot better than he did and we needed him to. Beyond excited to see what he can do in September.
Couldn't agree more about Wicks. He was very disappointing, albeit I'm not a massive fan of laying into medi-subs as I imagine being thrown into a game mid-match would have different effects on players.

I thought he may have temporarily forgotten that everyone has a week off.

Am a bit amazed people were critical of mcdonald here. what are you looking for - hes competing in the air - arguably quite comfortably doing that more than buddy who to my eye looked like a $500k player and certainly not a $750 k player out there tonight and hes getting his couple of goals per game.
Sorta feel for the medisub like Wicks in these situations, still a high pressure game with everything to play for and an opponent with nothing to lose and trying to finish a season on a high note after poor performances after the bye. First time a medisub was activated in a long time. Deer in the headlights stuff, wouldnt blame Wicks for what hit him today.

Agree thought this was one of Logan’s better games, he is getting better and better. Unsure why people are critical at this stage.
